Not really a season 2 though, it will be a different Elin book (Swan Song?) with different characters. Doubtful that any of the Perfect Couple cast will reappear unless they take major liberties with the story. Most of her books don't have reappearing characters.

I have a house in Chatham so hoping the next series will be filmed in Chatham again, although the Nantucket Police Station is now a raw bar.

I finally read the book so then I binged the series this weekend. I hated it, and I really like Nicole Kidman and Liev Shrieber. I don’t understand the changes from the book to the show and the writing and acting by everyone was awful. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Eve Hewson before but she drove me nuts. To be fair, I disliked her character from the book as well (Celeste, no idea why they changed her name to Amelia), but I couldn’t stand her in the show. I was so disappointed because I really wanted to like the series. After having watched White Lotus this show was like an old McDonald’s burger compared to a Charlie Palmer steak. I basically hate watched the end of it.

Ok thank you! I think Eve Hewson has an amazing body, for what that’s worth, but everyone except the two of them and Tag and Will was annoying weird looking. Like why did the female detective always have her hair flying everywhere? What was the point of that? And what was happening with Abby’s hair being so flat and awful? And the French lady (they changed her name from the book where she was Featherly and made her French for some stupid reason) looked like she was blurred with a serious filter.

Scooter was hot, though I thought his storyline was done much better in the book.
