Trump leading Biden in VA...What's going on?

See: Youngkin.

Youngkin only got in due to decreased Dem turnout, not a red wave for him. It was around the time of the gender-nonconforming student having his rape of a female student covered up in Loudoun County, and the dad getting arrested in front of the school board. Youngkin drummed up outrage and blamed Democrats for causing this, while the Dem candidate gave a very milquetoast response in return. People didn't feel motivated to go out and support him, so Youngkin slunk in.

and you think Trump will stop Israel from bombing Gaza? You’re nuts!

I'm saying if people think both candidates will bomb Gaza no matter what, why go out and vote at all? There is NO WAY Biden (or probably Harris) will win Michigan because of this.

Emerson Polling released a poll showing Trump ahead by 2 points: https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/4778304-donald-trump-joe-biden-virginia/

I live in Maryland (Frederick County) and I know Maryland is safe blue, although Frederick will probably go red this year due to it's conservative roots and the national political environment.

Anyone on the ground in VA know what's going on?

Who are they polling? Often times when I get called I don't want to spend the time to answer.

Are you dense? Have you seen Biden lately? He’s clearly diminished cognitively and physically, and doesn’t project strength at all.

I’m a Virginia right-leaning independent who voted for Biden in 2020, but I won’t in 2024 if he’s on the ballot.

So you, as a voter in the United States of America, see Trump as a better alternative than Biden? You took a look at the state of the world and the state of our country and Trump’s body of work and decided that you are going to vote for him? Quite literally the worst president to ever take office, that’s getting your vote?

That’s not what I said. I’m voting for neither. And don’t tell me that’s a vote for Trump. It isn’t, any more than it’s a vote for Biden. I’m tired of this two party sh!t.

Your flaming can't change my mind so don't even bother.

Well, kiss Democracy and our country as we know it goodbye. It was a nice run but,it will be over if he gets elected.

If you live in the Maryland or DC it won't matter if you vote or not.

Right after Biden won, McCauliffe reminded people that Dems believe the state is a co-parent. A year later, SC Justice Brown told people that a good Democrat should pretend not to know what a woman is. This is simply too much for anyone who isn't far left. Add in Biden's dementia and that spells landslide on a national basis and close races where they shouldn't be close. Dems need to get our house in order by dropping these insane far-left ideas and the old man. It's too late for 2024 but we can roar back in 2028.

I will vote for a corpse before I vote for corrupt, narcissistic, and deranged Trump who treats women with such disrespect and does not care at all about this country, women, or anyone other than himself. His own wife can't stand him.

It isn't scaremongering. Trump told everyone he wants to be a Dictator. Yes, for one day but, that will be the end of Democracy. You are too stupid to understand.

Bye!

Here's what one democrat thinks about your pathetic likely candidate.

More like a monster running against a senile corpse. I'll take the senile corpse. Don't know the answer to OP's question.

This is oddly specific and I doubt that the majority of voters are using these 2 comments as the lens to determine their 2024 presidential vote.

Tulsi Gabbard isn’t a Democrat.

Tulsi Gabbard isn’t a Democrat.

She is officially independent, but was a one time Democrat candidate for president.
And what she said is spot on.
