What clubs are left in Nova?

What is your assessment that Nova clubs don’t develop players based on? Capital churns out college lacrosse players and many of those players developed on Nova clubs. I have seen nothing to suggest Nova clubs are deficient in player development.

Pride is not the best at developing players any more. For younger teams, BLC is doing a much better job. NOVA girls lax clubs are on the decline. Just look at BLC 29 and younger. When that age group gets to MS, CLC will mostly be BLC girls.

BLC is not in NoVa. They are asking about VA teams.

They may be OK with traveling across the bridge to Bethesda. Better to join now instead of getting beat later.

Is BLC really worth sitting in horrendous traffic? 495 around the bridge is the worst these days.

Only worth it if your daughter is a 2029-2033 and you want to win games. All while being surrounding by very talented girls and coaches.

The problem with any MoCo team is that they are just too close in proximity to the top MD teams. Unless a team is super tight (eg, BLC 2027), there is a risk the top players will leave for MD teams and doom the remainder to failure. This is much less likely to happen on a Nova team because the MD club practice locations are just too far for most parents. Look at the 2028s. Pride is #9 and there is not a highly ranked MoCo team to be found because all the best players left for Hero’s etc.

Half the Pride team goes to Capital each year. BLC has a partnership with Capital, but they still take more Pride kids. Maybe this will change moving forward.

Absolutely going to change. Stars/Pride is in for a rude awakening.

Capital took twice as many BLC than Pride last year so that shift has already started.

Well maybe 2028 is an off year. Certainly the 2025 and 2026 BLC teams sent more players than Pride. Right?

2028 is not a strong class for BLC. It is likely none of them are on Capital Blue. Every year after the 28's are nationally ranked teams with very deep benches.

Wrong. Clc b 25 and 26 Pride provided the most with Stars close behind. 27 was the only year BLC had more clc players than Pride. 28 will also be majority Pride.

Unless, of course, the good players bail for M&D or Hero’s like most years. Don’t worry, though, because I am crossing my fingers.

Stars is on the decline and has been for a couple years. My daughters are still on it but it is truly terrible and we want to leave.
It’s a mess. Little instruction and we always lose all the games.

Do the right thing. Remove yourself regarding all decisions for your daughter's lacrosse experience. And that includes whether to post here.
