Pinto just resonates with the DCUM demo. She'd have zero chance in a city wide |
That’s totally true. Also that lady in the video sounded like a bitter nut. |
Pinto has almost no experience, she’s a child with rich parents. It’s absurd to put her forward as a serious mayoral candidate. |
Nah. I think we’re pretty clear on her popularity. The Secure DC folks polled residents recently and we know what her approval rating is, and it’s in the mid-40’s. While that isn’t Eric Adams bad, it’s dropped substantially since when she was running for her third term and in general, it isn’t great, particularly when she doesn’t even have any rivals and the majority of District residents are Democratic. Also, it seems like you are projecting a bit about the “people in wards where 99 percents of DCUM posters have never stepped foot.” Where, exactly, do you mean? Upper Northwest? Or somewhere else? Somewhere you find deplorable? |
| Nope. Let’s start w Allen and Nadeau. |
She would easily win reelection today, even if her popularity has dropped. Get out of your white bubble. |
| This is just a calculated distraction from the 2 we are in fact recalling |
| They aren't going to be recalled either and they aren't the main problem. Bowser is. |
|
I don’t think she is at all. Allen and Nadeau are net negatives.
No term limits is a problem. |
Again, I’m not sure why you are projecting - I am not in a white bubble. I was just responding to how people underestimate her popularity. And we’re agreed that she would be reelected today, only because she doesn’t have any rivals. That doesn’t mean she’s popular, or that she’s the right person, it just means her rivals have work to do. |
The slogan "Vision Zero" so describes Bowser. The only thing she's somewhat good at is platitudes. |
| I’m sure this list will only grow when the budget gets released next week. |
Exactly this. |
| I'm all in for recalling Muriel "Crime for All" Bowser. |
| Nope, just Allen. Maybe Nadeau. I’m good. |
