What are your political predictions for 2024?

This! And we don’t need debates. We know where both candidates stand:
Biden got us through COVID successfully and economy is up, inflation down.

Trump wants to stay out of prison, be a king and will yank our economy (and let Putin take Ukraine).

My money’s on Biden.

Debates would help, though. For as much as MAGA tries to paint Biden as the one struggling, Trump is deteriorating fast. He rarely makes any sense when speaking and gets easily confused.

No, because videos get doctored and MAGA would still support Trump if he was naked wearing only his stinky diaper.
It’s a cult.

+1. And guess what? No one cares. The Presidential debates have long ceased to serve their purpose - to expose voters to all likely candidates and their ideas through media available to all. Back in the day (before streaming internet) the vast majority of Americans only saw the presidential candidates on TV at times determined by the networks and the debates were a way to hear directly from the candidates. The debates are of no consequence anymore.

Biden and Trump aren't afraid to debate each other but those managing their campaigns certainly are deathly afraid of any live and unscripted, multi-hour appearance on national television that would expose how unfit to serve as most powerful person in the world these two elderly people are. They may allow for a brief debate against only each other with many restrictions in place to protect the candidates. No way Trump or Biden will ever debate normal, viable presidential candidates again. Voting Americans don't need to be reminded of what viable presidential candidates are until viable candidates are allowed to appear on ballots again. Maybe 2028?

Demanding the President and leader of the free world participate in meaningless debates is stupid. It would be unheard for a President singlehandedly engaged in wars against Russia, Palestinian extremists, and Iran and its terrorist proxies to be forced into a campaign debate. People who would suggest otherwise are unpatriotic and anti-democracy.

These are my predictions as well.

Biden will win easily in 2024.
We will see MAGA violence before the election.
The outlook on the economy starts to match the actual economy (which is already starting to happened based on the latest polls.).
Russia retreats and fades.
Israel and Palestine continue to be the clusterf**k it’s been forever.
China fades and tries to maintain whatever they currently have going on and not fade.

I think Biden will win again but step down in 2027 bc of dementia and also so Kamala can run as an incumbent (and she will win too).

Also, I hate that I really think this will happen.

That is ridiculous for lots of reasons - including that Biden doesn't want to hand the WH to Republicans and he can see as well as anyone that people mostly don't like Kamala and she probably wouldn't win an election.

1. Trump is the Republican nominee
2. There are no presidential debates
3. Once again a divided Congress with a Republican controlled Senate and a Democratic house by the slimiest of margins.
4. No one has enough electoral votes for the Presidency in November.
5. Pundits endlessly debate what happens next and Americans are shocked at how the Constitutional process works with no electoral college winner
6. President Trump sworn in January 2025.
7. Crime gets so bad that the Federal Government assumes control of DC
8. Harvard Corporation under mounting pressure fires embattled President Gay.
9. Harvard Corporation gives Harvard President’s job to Kamala Harris in January 2025.
10. Washington’s football team has a new moniker; need the merchandise income to pay for new coaching staff led by Bill Belichick.

Definitely agree with #2. No way does Biden’s campaign allow him to debate.

No way fat-ass coward Trump would debate. Biden would show up happily.

This. It's guaranteed that Trump would say something terrible once again, like "Proud Boys, stand back and stand by"-level bad.

Trump is a chicken. He would never show up. He talks a big game, though.

Trump wins, Republicans take Senate, Democrats take House. Trump says federal troops will be out fist day of new administration and that he will ban abortion. Woman are outraged, demonstrations happen. 2025 is looked upon with dread throughout the world as there will be bloodshed on American streets. People like Kyle Rittenhouse will be out in full force.

Wut?
What president is single-handedly fighting a war? What war is he fighting?

Why would he do this? How would it serve him?
