Mass shooting at dc nightclub

More police will not resolve the issue, addressing poverty, the lack of family structures and rising cost of inflation for food, and other basic necessities will address the problem. More policing leads to more jail. Once out, those who paid their debt to society are then unable to be reintegrated back into society which causes them to commit more crimes to survive.

America is not a first world country because it cannot even adequately feed children, ensure that working mothers have free safe daycare and provide housing to those in need.

Uh, these mass shootings in nightclubs do not happen because the poor killer is trying to put food on the table for his kids.

Also, 4 people are either dead or severely injured. Why don't you also show some compassion for the victims instead of only for the psychopathic killer?

For years we let people like this ramble and humored them. What's sad is that this has become the policy and we're seeing its results.

If the people doing the shootings were already in jail??? How would they be able to shoot a place up??

+1000

Guarantee this shooting had something to do with “disrespect.”

This literally is the definition of a mass shooting. It is four or more people being shot. Perhaps given these types are by far the most common mass shootings that don’t make national headlines ?

Its a root issue, the child who is not embraced by the village will burn it down to feel its warmth. We have a lot of people suffering from mental illness because of their impoverished childhood, lack of access to food and a parent/parents who did not receive wrap around services.

And those people can go to jail if they shoot someone. The end.

We need better gun control everywhere in the US. Including VA.

I agree completely, but with “criminal control,” since firearms are inanimate objects, and the war on legitimate firearm ownership and use dating back to 1968 (and even the 30’s if you look) has done nothing to prevent or even reduce crime. For starters, bring back project exile, where felons found with firearms go away, far away, for five years, no deals.

It is “literally” the made up “definition” in partisan statutes that have no relation to any conception of the word “mass” in any other context.

I'm sure if this happened in a white collar workplace you would have no problem calling it a mass shooting.

Not just point-of-sale gun control, but also point-of-use. Stop and frisk.

The literal definition of the term is 4+ people shot.
