Why don’t we castrate rapists?

I'd love if rapists and pedophiles spent in life in prison, but they rarely do. I worked in a treatment program that "helped" men who had sexual fantasies of children (some as young at 3 years olds) and they are just wired that way. It doesn't change.

Kill them. Period.

You don’t need a penis to rape.

According to the law in some states you must penetrate for it to be rape (otherwise, it's sexual assault). In VA for example, it must be full sex to be considered rape.

You didn’t address PP’s point of convicting the wrong person. Perhaps you’re fine with castrating or murdering an innocent man; most people aren’t.

How about locking chastity belts for rapists with regular parole checks to make sure they are secure. Put electronic monitors on them to make sure they aren't opened between parole checks. And monitor with the same system as house arrest anklets.

Not cruel and unusual, but keeps convicted rapists from raping again.

Ridiculous statement. Do you volunteer with the innocence project on death penalty cases? I'm sure you are aware there are years and years of appeals and information prior to execution. Innocence Project does a great work to our criminal justice system.

It shows that you have very little knowledge or education of our our court systems work - or how punishment work. Look, I am as liberal as they come. But once you work with these monsters you know there is no fixing them.

And believe it or not, most people don't care about murdering of innocent people or we wouldn't have school shootings every 2 days in this country.

Sorry, but in the case of rape I'm pro cruel and unusual. F the rapists.

But, logically, you can't enforce a lifetime of chastity belts for rapists because once you put them out on the street they have done their time and are free. Even those who are on the Sex offender registry. I just checked my neighborhood and two are working as street cleaning crews.

Also, P&P are completely overwhelmed. Where are you going to find a bunch of staff to check that men aren't raping women?

I think legal argument for most states is not "birthed" but the parents are the egg and sperm. This is why so many people who do surrogacy or egg/sperm donation sign complicated legal documents.

As many people have stated, more women than men have or are attempting to get custody of children. How do you explain the fact that in the catholic church, men are overwhelmingly responsible for child abuse? And as is now being revealed, nun abuse?
