Why do people overlook the advantages in dating if you go to a top school?

No doctor wants to marry another doctor. We like to marry people with more flexible schedules.

What? Half the kids at my child’s private school have dual physician parents.

This on DCUM where the women would never, never, never dream of mating with someone outside their social class, education level, and income level.

OK, but going to the "right" college gets you into the "right" grad school where you meet the "right" man.

Doesn’t dei help women have a greater selection of men with higher T to date at t20 school than they would otherwise?

That’s a positive no?

But these poor kids usually have top notch brains.

If I told my DD to pursue someone like this, I'd just be setting her up to be a long term girl friend who gets dumped just when the guy realizes what he really wants in a marriage.

High earning men who went to a top schools aren’t settling down until their 30s, and if and when they are, it’s with a woman in her 20s.

Except, not everyone goes to law, business, grad school.

Disagree. Going to a wonderful flagship like UVA/Michigan can get you into top schools too.

I’m hoping my kid won’t have to go to grad school.

Right, low-earning do-gooders don’t.

When I was at Harvard, 99% of the guys wanted to date someone who would be impressed that they went to Harvard, AKA not the women also going to Harvard.
