He can date poc women. Islamic and Hindu women are not dog enthusiasts. Most black women aren’t either.

This is beyond stupid.

Why?

Are you asserting that the women described above like dogs as much as white women on a population wide basis?

Dog-tivists are attention whores with low iqs.

I've found that people who dislike all cats and dogs either have had a bad experience with them, or have a controlling nature. I don't think that people can be divided into "dog people" and "cat people."

I think that the letter writer has a few issues.

This is a better explanation. Thanks.

This is hilarious!! I do not like dogs and I joke that it means I’m not a good person, but I had no idea that somebody would really take the idea to heart.

I feel the same way

I'm the opposite. I consider people like you two who are intolerant of other people with other opinions and preferences to be the ones with a character flaw.

Sigh. There's nothing intolerant about the previous statement. Please step outside once a week and realize the reworld is not Tumblr and non one has to tolerate your dislikes or preferences for the

It's perfectly fine to not want to be around other animals than Homo Sapiens.

And I says this when there are usually more pets than humans in my house!!!

What a stupid question.

I like some dogs and dislike others. I have zero desire to have one because it would complicate my life tremendously. Plus, I don't think the typical suburban lifestyle is actually good for a dog, and I don't think it's fair to force an animal into a substandard life simply because I want a living accessory.

Generally: dogs, fine; dog "ownership" and culture, bad.

It’s always white chicks that are over the top dog moms

You just know…

I’m not a dog person, I have considered owning one though. I do not mind well behaved well trained dogs that don’t jump on you, act aggressive, bark excessively, etc. Unfortunately most dogs aren’t like this and the average dog owner is irresponsible and selfish.

I’m also irritated at the dog owners who personify their dog and treat it like a human, or act like a dog is a more worthy companion than a human. People who PREFER the company of animals to other people are almost always insufferable to be around and are using the animal as a fill in for a person since other people don’t like them. Dogs can be great, I’ve met great dogs. But they are dogs at the end of the day.

I’m surprised when I run into a white person who is anti dog.

There are many of us white people who are indifferent towards dogs or pets, but know we shouldn't say anything to those obsessed because then we will be "bad" people.

My family couldn't afford pets and everything we actually needed too, including college, so no pets it was.

Same! We had 8 kids. I actually dislike dogs + I am a white woman.

I dislike when dog hair is on clothing. It looks unkept, but dogs are ok in small doses.
