Clifton annoys me, here's why

Hate to break it to you but Fairfax County is about building shelters in Baileys Crossroads and affordable housing in Tysons, not adding streetlights in Clifton. You’re perceived as wealthy so you are on your own.

+1 but I used to live inside the beltway. Old, white people

Whatever your issues, contact city council and your reps. They will listen in an election year

Clifton has it’s charm. Please find something else to complain about.

Clifton needs some more restaurants. I would kill for a McDonald's

NO, we do NOT need a McDonald's IN THE CITY.

To be honest, the affordable housing crisis should be a priority.

I’m trying to picture a McDonald’s in the little historic town area.

The struggle is real.

I was so glad when I sold my house in Clifton. The commuters from PWC ruined the peacefulness. Plus our cute school was closed.

There’s a long story that started with the elementary school’s closing. It’s purely political.

I am aware of the Clifton ES closing mess. I actually know the man who used to be the janitor there. That place needed to be closed for sanitary and safety reasons. I didn't ask the question of him - he freely volunteered the info to me (he is quite chatty)

Th county had enough $ and time to make turn it into a new school. There didn’t want to renovate the school.

That's actually false. You do not understand what happened.
