No. Notre Dame is not a better school than Emory. It's only top 25 on one ranking while Emory is on both. So no Notre Dame doesn't get the benefit of the doubt.

You're lieing and I hop you loose sleep for it. Yes not all colleges report to WSJ, but all top colleges do. Only a few are omitted from the WSJ ranking and most are LACs.

False

UCB, UCLA, Lac’s like Williams, Amherst are big omissions from your made up list.

Also, unrelated but I typically think of WUSTL, Emory and Tufts together. Not sure when the first two started to get more recognition but guess it relates to their grad programs (and they don’t have to “compete” in a city with Harvard and MIT, haha).

Sorry USN&WR is the flagship ranking.
Others are supplementary.

Well, UVA is tied with CMU on USNWR for no 25, so I'm gathering your kid didn't get into UVA?

and UC Berkeley is much better than all these:16. Vanderbilt 17. Washington U 18. Rice 19. Emory 20. USC 20. tie CMU 22.Notre Dame 22. tie U Michigan 22. tie UCLA 25. Georgetown 25. NYU

When it's cheating

Practically all the top 20 schools cheat and at least Berkeley doesn't try to make their admission rate lower by manipulating or just admit highest SAT scorer and the highest GPAs like other top public schools.

I didn't include LACs because that wouldn't be fair as USNews doesn't combine the lists. UCLA is there, UCB is overrated. Tufts had never been on WashU'd or Emorys level. Only in the minds of delusional new Englanders.

So you admit it matters as you call it supplementary. Either way Notre Dame is overrated, it just has a ton of money.

Then don't get caught doing it.

admission rate is not a ranking criteria anymore at least for the flagship ranking USN&WR

admiting hight SAT and GPA makes perfect sense, and schools should do that.

Yeah! Give the LACs some respect!

Or make a LAC list. 🙂

Notre Dame is overrated. It's endowment ranking is 7 but it's overall ranking is 19 on US news. So yeah overrated.

There's no way to accurately add them, and even if I did they'll likely be at the bottom or off the list entirely.
