Emory, Rice, ND, WUSTL and Vanderbilt will likely suffer if the Roe thing becomes an ongoing issue.
I also don't understand how U-Mich is not top 20, given that so many of its programs are top5/10 nationally. |
I went to WUSTL, enjoyed it, and know that typical people there and in St. Louis are quite liberal. And I love what the Danforth family has done for the university. Dr. Bill Danforth was a great, kind man. But WUSTL should suffer the most, because, as fine a man John Danforth is, in many ways, he put Clarence Thomas on the Supreme Court. If Joe Biden was too mean to Anita Hill, that’s probably because he trusted John Danforth to be a good judge of character, and John Danforth, in that case, was not. |
No they won't, all of the schools mentioned will be just fine even if your little kiddo doesn't grace them with their presence. It is comical you think this way though, believe in Tinker Bell too? |
So the current top 25 on USnews lol? |
No look more carefully. Slightly different. Also refer to this thread https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/180/1066443.page I agree with the list of last several years average. |
Berkeley should be on this list and U Mich should be way higher. Clearly biased against public research universities even though they are the engines of social economic mobility in America … |
Plus one U Mich should be way higher - so many post grad programs are top ranked. I suspect that many young women will be rethinking college choices. I will discourage DD from studying in states where women’s rights are not respected. UWSL especially since Missouri is aggressively chasing this sorry misplaced focus like zealots while they already have very high teen pregnancy and child poverty rates. Criminalization of reproductive choices is below the par of basic human rights. Suddenly, good but less popular college destinations for DMV students - such as Vermont, Colgate and Colby may look a lot more attractive. |
Thanks, I compiled the list. I used this source: https://publicuniversityhonors.com/2016/09/18/average-u-s-news-rankings-for-126-universities-2010-1017/ And here is the list. Number in parentheses is average rank over last 8 years in USNWR. 1. Princeton (1) 2. Harvard (2) 3. Yale (3.375) 4. Columbia (3.625) 5. Chicago (4.375) 6. MIT (4.75) 7. Stanford (5.375) 8. Brilliant! Lolol! |
Your source is 6 years old! Ancient |

No, no, OP. Here's the definitive list:
https://www.businessinsider.com/colleges-with-the-hardest-working-students-2015-12 |
Work the hardest/most: 1) MIT 2) Chicago The top two seem right! |
Did you even read the article? It is updated each year, most recently in Sept. 2021 when the latest US News rankings came out. This is an average of all the rankings since 2015. Hardly ancient, when it is updated annually and even more significant as it accumulates data over the years. |
LOL, Niche. |
