Sure you are. |
You’re welcome. I’ve been doing all of my grocery shopping in Virginia ever since the Mayor brought back the mask mandate. No more restaurants for me in DC since then, either. |
| I'm a DC resident and go to VA to eat and shop as much as possible. I don't know why you all think we're trolls. I am being 100% honest about this. I am vaccinated and boosted, but over the masks and DC politics in general. |
I’m fully vaccinated and bolstered as well. But, I have no interest in telling strangers my medical history. |
I'm a DC resident and I love the protections rolled in. Love the masks, love the vaccine mandate, love the free and copious at-home testing, and love the benefits of living in DC like universal pre-school, paid leave, free transportation the whole pandemic, protections and moratoriums for the entire public. If all that is anathema to you...why not just move to NOVA or further out? Its cheaper and has almost the exact opposite atmosphere as they just killed off the mask mandate, voted out a candidate with the same propositions, no protections, and pretty soon - no abortions. |
+1 how odd. |
I do, all the time. Preferred hair salon is in Arlington. Love to shop at Potomac Mills and Pentagon City. Bought my car in Alexandria two weeks ago. Many friends there whom I often meet for happy hours. Etc Etc. |
Are you the same person who spams this list of benefits all the time? |
I live near Clarendon and there are always cars with DC license plates at all the grocery stores and in the shopping areas. It's like when you go to Pentagon City and see all the cars from Maryland. I just thought people in DC and Maryland had no good shopping near their homes. |
Notice that the poster is a "resident" of DC and not a "homeowner" in DC. Keeping the options open if her benefits drop and she is has to go to a place like California to get her freebies and abortions. |
PP here - oh please. I’ve owned property in DC since 2017. You can ask Jeff as I’ve noted it before. Love my city as a long-time resident and a homeowner. Although yes — if CA passes universal healthcare this year, I will be decamping to the west coast at least part of the year. Got to support the best policies! |
Pretty much sums it up, doesn't it? Yes, there are plenty of people who truly love masking and would have it this way forever if they were in charge. Thank God, they are not. |
This weekend? Then you aren't talking about people "from DC" - you're talking about the people who came for the March for Life and the anti-vaxx protest this weekend. Enjoy the germs. And make sure they have a lot more protests, otherwise that model won't be sustainable for you. |
And yet do you give them health care and access to other benefits? …. |
I live in DC and see tons and tons of Virginia and Maryland plates. I used to go to the Costco and a few other stores at Pentagon City but since Youngkin got elected, I go to the Costco in DC instead. And at least the Costco in DC has gas - cheaper than gas anywhere in Arlington. |
