“These people” believe in following the golden rule - do unto others - if op wants to travel in first class then they should treat their nanny the same way.

My friend is a nanny and if she is required to travel with the family, she always joins them in whatever class they go - she has traveled in first class several times.

No way. You all go first or all economy. She is helps you raise your kids, she is like family and should be treated equally.

Put her in a checked bag. Free if she is less than 50lbs. Or put one of your little ones in a checked bag.

Why not have her take a bus or a boat instead?

“everyone else”? Do you even see how tone deaf you are?

Unless you’re a troll, you are the reason there is so much disdain for the rich.

If f the nanny is traveling on the clock, put her in first, if she's just getting a free ticket to go on vacation off the clock, economy is fine. I would be grateful for a free ticket somewhere and would prefer to sit away from my boss and charges when not working.

You gifted your nanny a vacation off the clock. No need to add first class as well. You are doing her a favor. I take it your vacation is somewhere very nice?

This thread makes no sense. She’s being “added on” because she wanted to go on vacation but you won’t need her because you’re kids are teens/tweens yet for some reason she’s still your nanny despite not needing her due to your kids’ ages?

This was obviously made up, but carelessly so. Maybe edit and try another forum, OP.

Then why are you bringing the nanny???

She wanted to go on vacation and we offered to add her to ours. We wouldn't be using her as a nanny on Vacation.
Rich people are so strange to me. Yes, buy her a first class ticket.

These aren’t rich people. They would know the proper way to act if they were. They’re nouveau riche at best.

There is a really funny guy on tiktok who does rich vs extremely rich bits.

How many kids do you have? How old are they? Personally, if you put your kids in first class and your nanny in second that is a real insult and you are telling her that she is second class citizen in your world. Either keep kids with her or go without her and manage your children as most parents do.

The first time you can afford first class? That can't be the case if you're nickel and diming the nanny.
