Why stammer over veiled threats when you can see real aggression with smashing clipboards and foul language directed at children?

| Know both goalies and both are ultra capable. Rotation is on the coaches not them. Probably would’ve started the younger one as it is tough to ask her to come into the big game cold at halftime. The experienced older one would’ve been a better option to do that. But they have to do what they want. Any goalie talk is on the coaches. |

To funny that someone would comment on a broken clipboard and foul language at children. They have no clue what their daughters do and say all the time… get your head out of the sand… I would have said ass but you are obviously an ass all over.

Shock and Awe when it was needed most (probably over some of your heads ). Show some emotion throw out some general profanity and break a clipboard! Wow brilliant! Did you see how the players woke up and rallied, became very tight when they were down! Won a State Championship!!! Unless you have played at a high level or any level at all it’s probably over your head! |

COY should quit and his staff should also go. Take the clipboard incident away and he knows very little at coaching the game of lacrosse, let alone coaching if strategies, understand and knowing your players strengths and weaknesses, etc… I could go on and on and what’s even more said is his assistants are to afraid to step up and say something.
The clipboard incident was the icing on the cake but the way he mistreats players over the past 6 or more years is horrible. Just because someone wins, doesn’t mean they actually know how to coach, those senior players could have coached themselves and be just fine. There will be of course some that will defend COY but they are blinded by a state championship and are missing all the crap that players and parents hd to go through. |

Agree to disagree. Whether they both deserved to play or not in the championship game doesn’t mean you play both if you are trying to win an actual championship But hey, I’m an Oakton parent, glad you made the change. Worked out for our team 🤣🤣🤣 |

But hey, a-hole, there’s a lot more to high school sports than just winning. They both got us to that game and both of them could be counted on. Go celebrate your victory by 1 and we will see you next year |

| Funny, that parents and children as you refer them as… I have looked everywhere and have not seen or heard of anyone reporting this to the authorities. If your little children can’t accept tough love…quit… probably like you have done. People like to throw around the abuse word but tough coaching, demanding players to perform is coaching. If you allowed your “child “ to be personally abused then you should be held responsible! If a coach breaks a clip board unless it was on someone’s head it’s no big deal. If he is throwing out a profanity word not directed a a particular player… no big deal. Sounds like your child didn’t get to play or not a lot of talent and you have a vendetta against the COY! And no those players couldn’t have done it on their own…it’s a team/coach effort to win championships! You have no idea of how to manage and coach a team. |

I agree with this statement, if you are so great grab a whistle and stand to post! They have no problem having an additional coach!

I second that with COY parting ways. If you take away his antics, and just look at pure coaching, he doesn’t know what he is doing, end of story. And if think he does know the game of glax, then your a fool. And that’s coming from the inside.

My daughter said she had no problem with the tough coaching and that no one was personally abused nor the team as a whole!
Also, as you wrongfully stated the team could have done it without coaches is pretty dumb comment. Yea, we have some talented players but when things got dicey… thank god the coaches stepped in and settled the team down… Go Cougars…. State Champions!!! |
