Saks return policy sucks - WWYD?

Anonymous
A year ago, I ordered a pair of royal tan Tory Burch Revas from Saks in an 8.5. They were too big so I never wore them and they have been in the box ever since. I had a lot going on and didn't return them within their exchange window, and they refuse to exchange them for another size. Ideas?

Well their policy does not suck OP....YOU suck for not returning them when you were supposed to.

Saks has returned tons of my stuff even items that broke and replaced them after a few months.

Take some responsibility!

They still sell the shoes, they carry the size I need, and it is the exact same shoe. I don't understand why they won't exchange them for a different size. Even if I didn't make the 90 day window, what do they stand to gain from not exchanging them?

ebay them and then go buy the right size

You should have lnown their return policy and not have waited so long to return them..my ides is that on future, you abide by store return/exchange policy.

Op, how did you approach the sales person when you tried to exchange the shoes? I am guessing you were not contrite but just thought you were entitled to a return. Tell you what, pick another store location and go in an grovel - you are really sorry, you love the shoe, you meant to return it - you had a travel out of the country for several months - you know the return window has passed but all you want is to get a smaller size - you would really appreciate it if they could make an exception to the 90 day return policy.

Let us know if you get a different response!

I called customer service. I definitely groveled because I did feel bad. I was really surprised they were so inflexible. It was only a $200 shoe which is nothing compared to most of their sales, I am sure, so maybe that had something to do with it.

I should have titled this I SUCK - sorry, PPs.

I called after about 3 months and didn't realize it was going to be an issue at all. But yeah, at this point it has been over a year.

No, I suck. I SUCK. I even got pregnant to see if my feet would go up a size but it didn't work.

Sell them on Craigslist.
