| Today was proof there are just a bunch of trolls on this board. Fantastic game! We just couldn’t get the lead. Congrats to Oakton players coaches and families. The Oakton parents were nothing but good sports. Many came up to us to offer their props on playing a tough game. They are one hell of a team! |

| Congrats to Oakton. Great win. Good news for Battlefield, they will continue to get stronger with more experience. Those girls played with heart.. with everything in them. You can tell those girls also love their coaches and their coaches love them. By proving to these idiot trolls on here that you deserved to be in that game, you won too Battlefield. |

| Aside from others noting Battlefield could not stop one player with their defense, they also struggled offensively. Many of their goals were player up or FPS. Just not much of an offense when playing even strength. Credit to the Oakton defense. This is where I think Battlefield’s weak schedule hurt them. They were never tested by a good defense during the season other than maybe Woodson. Congrats to the Cougars. |

Congratulations to the Oakton girls… another State Championship. Oh, and the COY what a job… Sun Tzu would be proud! Shock and Awe when it was needed most (probably over some of your heads ). Show some emotion throw out some general profanity and break a clipboard! Wow brilliant! Did you see how the players woke up and rallied, became very tight when they were down! Won a State Championship!!! Unless you have played at a high level or any level at all it’s probably over your head! Oh! And those two blonde assistants… now they have a State Championship as a player and a coach….how many people you know that have accomplished that. Again, congratulations to the players and coaches at Oakton well deserved! Go COUGARS! |

Yes because both of our goalies are really good. Second half goals were all man up or 8 meter. |

Oakton defense knows that water covers 2/3 of the earth… they covered the other third!!!!
Go cougs! Offense did what they needed to do… Total team effort. Some great strategy from Oakton coaches. |
