Trump sides with Russia, attacks America

And it also misses the point, which is that Americans conspired with Russia to increase their firepower, so to speak.

The false equivalency the GOP continually draws to our actions vs Russia, our president vs Putin - that's what's crazy. So now it's okay to be as bad as the Russians? That's going to be our line of defense, even thought the equivalency is totally untrue and unfounded? That is, unless Trump is ordering hits on journalists and enemies of the state ....

Rand Paul just announced a trip to Moscow. Maybe he is going to defect?

Rand Paul has a point.

The point being that he and his dad have taken Russian money for their "institute" and are as complicit at Trump?

So it's not a big deal because any country that has the opportunity to meddle does...

Wow!

Appalling! How could he?

Because he is Rand Paul. 98% of what he does is appalling.

Please let this be true. Not condoning violence. Beating him up was not okay. But is he were my neighbor, the thought would cross my mind. (But I’m not a Trumpkin, so I would have the self control not to).

Awww. Rand Paul and Trump are now besties:

On the home front, Trump is meeting with Congress this afternoon.

Great BBC coverage on NPR right now.

Is this where the GOP will roll over for Trump and keep supporting treason?

The point is Trump has been under partisan investigation by Obama’s intelligence people for two years. Of course he didn’t trust Comey, Brennon, McCabe, Strozk. CNN kept equating those bad actors with current intelligence leadership such as Coats and Pompeo. Senator Paul never fell for CNN’s trap.

Of course. There is a SCOTUS Justice to install and midterms to meddle in.

Sounds like you're paying as much attention to Coats as Trump is.

I don’t think Trump is compromised. I think he identifies with Putin’s worldview. Look at Trump’s actions; they are those of an autocrat, a strongman. He has no interest in democratic norms, or the agencies that support and defend these norms. He and his administration have been undermining our government from day one. So why not team up with Putin? They want the same things.

He identifies with dictators, true. But that doesn’t mean he isn’t compromised.

So clearly you’re blind to reality. Trump is a Traitor period.

Everyone thinks that to betray America yesterday as he did, there must be a figurative gun to his head. But what if his behavior is simply the consequence of his autocratic impulses? That’s worse really.
