Kim kardashian just released video of Taylor Swift's convo on her snapchat

It's also very rich that she plays victim after actively going after former boyfriends and rivals so openly. She has overplayed her hand on this one.

But, I had little idea about who that black man was until he certainly acted mean to her, and publicly. Sometimes mean black men are actually mean black men -- can you accept that or will you racist head explode?

You mean this...

As the first woman to win album of the year at the Grammys twice, I want to say to all the young women out there: there are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame," Swift said near the close of the show.

"But if you just focus on the work and you don’t let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you’re going, you’ll look around and you’ll know it was you and the people who love you who put you there and that will be the greatest feeling in the world."

Yes. The speech was all about Kanye...so obvious .

Not sure what is so awful about the speech.

It's all true, I work... people try to under cut you and take credit for your accomplishments... focus on your work and don't let people side track you.

I can say that about my work. It happened to be about Kanye her "friend"... but she is young she just needs to learn to cut toxic people out of her life.

Someone should ask about the race of those who like Taylor Swift. What do you want to bet they are all White people who see no problem with white people exploiting their own racial privilege if it benefits them in some way?

So, we should do away with Affirmative action then? Is that what you are saying? After all aren't minority people "exploiting" their own racial privilege in order to get a job that is held for them only or entry to an Ivy league school? See how that works?

Btw, I don't see anything wrong with affirmative action because of our history but your premise is so wrong on so many levels.

I am TEAM TAYLOR all the way!!!!

Yup. That speech caused three days of reporters dissing Kanye West for taking credit for Swift's fame in his lyrics, when he had actually talked to Swift in advance about that and gotten her okay. (Just not the "bitch" part).

Why didn't Swift just take her own advice and Shake It Off instead of making it into a huge controversy to damage West?

I was being sarcastic - Taylor's speech went way beyond this latest encounter with Kanye. I totally agree with you.

Anonymous wrote:Taylor's a liar!!! She's fake and phoney and this just proves it. She can't talk her way out of it.

Also Kanye really did make her famous. Sure she won that VMA but it would've gotten half the attention if he hadn't jumped on stage. That really launched her and gained her more fans who felt bad for her. Like it or not....its true

Are you forgetting Taylor was a big deal in country music before she crossed over?

That's really not too hard, IMO. Not for a young, slim blonde girl.

Slim and blonde like Darius Rucker?

There is one black guy boy in country music. There are a whole lot of skinny white girls. False equivalency

Google Mickey Guyton. That is a female, BTW.

So one black guy, one black girl. How many ruggedly handsome white guys and skinny big haired white girls are there?

Previous PP should google "free statistics course." What a stupid point -- it is very hard for a person to succeed as a "skinny white girl" especially in activities, like country, where "There are a whole lot of skinny white girls."

There aren't that many cross over stars (from country to pop or from pop to country). Most pick one form of music and stick with it. Darius and Taylor are 2 who managed to do both.
