I honestly don't think this is a huge deal - but Taylor has been overexposed and it seems people want to bring her down a notch, and relish the idea that she's the opposite of her projected image. But this seems such a small thing, in reality.

I truly don't think she masterminded this manipulation of the Kanye story, and was playing him on the phone that day. I truly believe she was taken aback by the "bitch" comment.
But it's also ridiculous that she plays the victim to the extent she does, when she is anything but.

I just looked up Calvin Harris and didn't realize that he was massively successful in his own right before starting up with Taylor Swift. And I didn't realize that several songs I've loved in the past year or so (yeah, my kids play 99.5) were his.

Taylor herself turned this whole thing into a tale of woe of a pretty little white girl being victimized by a mean black man who wouldn't stop picking on her. Who's in the wrong now?
