Like wearing short skirts? |
Are you missing common sense? |
Just go to any city in the world and walk downtown drunk and in a really short skirt and tight top between midnight and 5 a.m. I'm sure you'll be fine! |
Wearing short skirts is a dangerous activity? Come on, man. You're not that dumb. Drinking to the point of staggering and losing your balance is inherently dangerous. Most of us have done it (and regretted it). So it's not judgment and it's not blaming, it's pointing out that it is a risk. Wearing a short skirt is . . . not the same. It's not inherently dangerous. Men walk around shirtless, which is less than a skirt, and that's not dangerous. Equating skirts snd dangerous binge drinking- THAT is vicitim blaming and excusing men who can't seem to keep their dick in their pants. |
That's a reflection on men; not a reflection on the dangers of wearing normal clothing. So you're admitting men have a problem? What are we doing about it? |
| That’s the issue. Until we cut off a rapists male parts, women who wear short skirts are going to be targets of unwanted male attention. In a perfect world, it wouldn’t matter. But we’re not in a perfect world. |
Yep |
I can't fix the world. I'm just stating what's dangerous. You do what you want. |
You'd be fine in Tokyo and Singapore. |
Getting mugged, r*ped, beaten, and/or m*rdered late at night is just life in the Big City! My lord, listen to yourself. It doesn't have to be this way. Stop rationalizing it. |
| This is so sad. Many of us - myself included - did really dumb and reckless sh!t in college. There but for the grace of God… |
I am a engineer. Reckless for me is using a 2H pencil instead of HB. |
| Bad shit happens when you are wasted. This is a conversation I keep having with my kids. Once you start noticing that you are losing stuff, telling the same story over and over again, etc., it is time to wrap up the night and go home. |
Rationalizing? Not at all. It's the way it is, especially with repeat offenders on the loose. I didn't say it's okay. |
