Even if you knew the VP and how bad she is at so many of the key things needed to be POTUS? It’s so hard to lie to your kids.

Dp. But we don't think that. Many of you knowingly admit you know he is an immoral and corrupt man and yet you still voted for him.

Why do you think so many of his Generals and Republicans wanted us to vote for Harris? Probably the first time I have seen so many endorse Democrats!

And yet, it gave you no pause...

Regarding morality...

What if the the real reason Biden helped expand the prison state and lamented schools turning into a "racial jungle" was because plantation mentality appeals to him?
What if Biden's reputation of being weak on the border while paradoxically heavy on deportation comes from the fact that he's very ok with exploiting Latinos.
What if Biden's support for Israel really is support for a Palestinian genocide, and that's why he's doing it?
What if it's no coincidence that Biden is fervent supports historically Nazi/fascist groups?
What if the reason Biden is willing to put humanity at risk of global nuclear annihilation is due to an addiction to McCarthyist dogma?
What if Biden throws billions upon billions of American dollars at another country's pension accounts mostly because he doesn't particularly think much of the poor - or even the middle class, for that matter?
What if Biden's career-long indulgence in warmongering owes to a fundamental sense of xenophobia?
What if the main driver behind the Democrats' equity in academic admissions policies really is anti-Asian sentiment?
What if the predatory touching of underage girls that Biden has substantively been accused of doing stems from a lack of respect for women?

I'm just not sure that confidently calling out Trump's morality is quite the position of strength people would like it to be, since guys like this often end up being the beneficiaries.

No, pp. It’s not possible. Because Democrats are altruistic and wholly good. They care about people, and want things to be nice for everyone. They are smarter than everyone else. They wear the white hats.

The other half of the country is pure, unadulterated evil. They hate women and minorities and want everything to be awful for everyone except for white men. They are all very stupid. They wear the black hats.

There can’t POSSIBLY be more nuance than that. That is why OP and so many others here are “distraught.”

97% of Americans are decent, well meaning people. You people have, by design, been divided by well crafted messaging from the awful two major parties you associate with. This is making otherwise intelligent people sounds really, really gullible and simple-minded.

Just stop it. Your fellow citizens aren't the problem. The problem lies within the toxic culture of your political parties and your blind love affairs with awful politicians like Trump and Biden. Wake the eff up people.

The problem is wealth inequality and yet we just elected a cabal of billionaires.

YOU have caused the wealth inequality through piss-poor policies that cause unintended consequences that benefit certain groups.

In short, the more you do, the worse things get.

The problem begins with the phrase "wealth inequality". Why on earth should wealth be equal?

Wealth inequality will always exist and is a reflection of both innate qualities like intelligence and people skills and non-inate factors like geography, education and health.

Both Biden and Harris surrounded themselves with multi-millionaire and billionaire friends who influenced their decisions.

Safe to say that if a politician carries an R or D next to their name, they have wealthy financial backing "friends" to answer to.

It is important for our politicians to make sure the wealthy and powerful people donating to their campaigns become more wealthy and more powerful.

This is a good post. I don't think democrats understand this and care about us. They lost my vote forvery at defund the police.

My apologies for the inappropriate Fox/Keaton reference yesterday. I admire Fox's courage in fighting through the struggles he has faced most of his adult life. I'm a big fan of his.

I would be upset too. If my son backed a misogynist racist narcissist pig like Trump.

Leftists are a gift to Trump. They don’t understand how crazy their ideology sounds to most people who aren’t progressive. Most people don’t want woke, DEI, “preferred pronouns”, open borders, defund the police, or any of the other crazy ideas imagined by the left and implemented by the Biden-Harris administration. It’s amazing to me that the Biden-Harris administration went so far left, implemented policies not supported by the public, yet thought they would be re-elected because more people viewed Trump as a threat. Talk about being out of touch with the public.

Too ashamed to tell people we know in real life. Heartsick that we raised a child who is happy about Trump being elected. He says a big reason is campus DEI and wokeness, which he feels has gone too far. Anyone else in this situation? How are you handling it? Any advice?

I have family members who voted for Harris. I don’t talk politics with them anymore. The conversations don’t go anywhere, because they have their ingrained political views and I have mine.

Perhaps you and your relatives need to turn off the cable news and social media and come back to reality. It's misguided and careless families like yours that pave way for people like Trump and Biden to be elected POTUS.

Male college age guys may be forgiven, because their brains aren't yet maure. They will figure out what's what when Trump crashes the economy yet again right about when they are set to graduate.

Fortunately the majority of college age guys do not attend college. The DCUM elites need to consider all people not the few

And inherited wealth?

Legacy preferences, not only in college admissions but in career advancement.

Hiring and promotions in finance, law and consulting are sensitive to who you are related to.
