Virginia doesn’t register by party. |
Sure republicans are going after democrats. Nothing the republicans do is unbiased or equitable. |

Except when the plaintiffs got the list, they found lots of people who were in fact citizens and who didn’t get any notice. |
That’s not what the law says though, you are able to amend the voter rolls in an individualized process. |
If you had been keeping up with this story as you had claimed, you would have known that indeed valid citizens were caught up in this. The question was how to proceed given their lack of response to the 14 day resolution period. |

No, it’s a sign of corruption and lawlessness on the side of the GOP. Pssst. What John Roberts and the rest of the curds who lied under oath just did falls under both “rampant cronyism and corruption” and “fraudulent elections.” Youngkin broke the law in doing this and they’re happy to break their usual protocols to make sure that those legal and registered voters don’t get to vote.

Removing illegal voters benefits everyone. |
The original judge in this case wanted it fixed with letters by mail. |
No we can just use passports. |
They should have had updated addresses on file and responded in the 14 days with their evidence that they gained citizenship. Voters have a responsibility here, they are the ones who checked that they weren’t eligible and need to update it. |
They were asked in the letter to provide proof of citizenship to the registrar’s office within 14 days. They didn’t. |
The issue here is that it was a stunt that violates the law. You GOP cheaters go on and on about crime and the law and blah blah blah but you don't care about actually obeying the laws when it suits you. The GOP has been crying about fraud and undermining confidence in US elections that were, in fact, fair and secure, so that *they can commit fraud* in this one. See this stunt and other last minute attempts to change laws and processes. Trump says the Dems can't win unless they cheat to lay the groundwork so that he can cheat. I can't believe how many people fall for this shit. |
Some letters were sent to the wrong addresses. Some letters arrived at homes AFTER the 14 day deadline to respond. It's all in the NPR article. |
