| Youngkin has a year left as governor. He pursued this issue, which won’t stop VA from going blue once again, to burnish his MAGA credentials. |
| Not sure this is going to turn out like You gkin thinks it will, lots of recent immigrants with foreign sounding names tend to vote republican against their own self interest. |
Describe how this would be fixed and how easy that would be. Would an email do it? |

Multiple people have explained to you that they removed eligible voters from the rolls within 90 days of an election, which is an illegal action. But the GOP believes in rules for thee but not for me. |
| What are "suspected" non-citizens? What level of proof do they have to have to remove the names? |
I’m going to go with a big old (D) near their name. This is like when hackers probe a system to see what they can get away with. And the John Roberts Rubber Stamp for Fascists says Republicans can get away with anything. |

An estimated 3.5 million migrants have become U.S. citizens since the 2020 presidential election and could sway the outcome of elections.
I can see the potential for removing a significant cohort of now-citizens if different groups of data (eg ID numbers from prior to naturalization vs other data, not to mention problems with duplicate names--nobody notices a bunch of Thomas Smiths, but two identical names that are very untraditional for the US could present an issue). With the reported strain on election administration resources from the people who have been organized to slam agencies with long lists of purported registration fraud this is worrisome. |
