This. There is very little self-awareness or willingness to think what is it about our party and our chosen candidate that people do not want to vote for them and what can we do to fix that. Have you not seen what has happened to other elderly politicians of late? Why would I want to take the chance of a similar decline in the leader of the free world? I’m not having any more children, and my daughter has the means to one day spend her entire pregnancy abroad should we become concerned about her healthcare. We don’t have mortgages. Biden is convinced to back out of the 2024 race by his family, political network, and the many, many Americans that don't want Trump to be elected for a second term and vocal enough to convey this message to Biden and the DNC. One of the many Dem governors that would be viable POTUS candidates takes a commanding lead in the primary polls and forces the hand of the RNC and voters on the right to jump ship from Trump after they see that Trump stands absolutely no chance against any Dem candidate not named Biden. We end up with two normal candidates for the voters to choose from and most importantly, we are guaranteed a Trump-free White House. Or we can bend over, be quiet and flip a coin to decide if Trump retakes the White House. Which do you choose?

It has been the Dems vs the GOP for a very long time but never before have they stubbornly ignored the sentiment of most Americans by their continuing support of two deeply unpopular candidates that have no business leading the country for 4 more years. The American people didn't put the country in this predicament, the leadership or lack there of within the GOP and Dem parties put us in this predicament. Stop blaming the people.

I want the squeaky wheels to get squeakier to the point at which the RNC and DNC are forced into action to do whatever possible to replace Trump and Biden at the top of their tickets. Unprecedented times are cause for unprecedented measures. You'll find some Trump and Biden campaign workers trying to make a case for them being president for 4 more years but outside of that, literally everyone knows they shouldn't be and there is simply too much at stake to sit back and allow them to do this to our country. We need to regain some backbone and stop the bullying of the rich and powerful elitist running our two parties which by the way, are replaceable private entities. The Trump and Biden campaign workers will be quick to respond to this with the usual "No, Trump and Biden are the only choices. Shut up and pick one." The heck with those people. The futures of my children and grandchildren are much more of a concern for me than the feelings of campaign workers.

One of the many Dem governors that would be viable POTUS candidates takes a commanding lead in the primary polls and forces the hand of the RNC and voters on the right to jump ship from Trump after they see that Trump stands absolutely no chance against any Dem candidate not named Biden. We end up with two normal candidates for the voters to choose from and most importantly, we are guaranteed a Trump-free White House. Or we can bend over, be quiet and flip a coin to decide if Trump retakes the White House. Which do you choose?

Because at the end of the day, the GOP wants to win. When Trump is losing by 30 points in the polls in a presumptive match-up against the Dem nominee, we'll be joyfully surprised at how quickly the GOP base abandons Trump. I choose to replace Washington DC with a random number generator. We'll get much better results than from what we have had there for the last three decades.

Here is one. Biden is convinced to back out of the 2024 race by his family, political network, and the many, many Americans that don't want Trump to be elected for a second term and vocal enough to convey this message to Biden and the DNC. One of the many Dem governors that would be viable POTUS candidates takes a commanding lead in the primary polls and forces the hand of the RNC and voters on the right to jump ship from Trump after they see that Trump stands absolutely no chance against any Dem candidate not named Biden. We end up with two normal candidates for the voters to choose from and most importantly, we are guaranteed a Trump-free White House. Or we can bend over, be quiet and flip a coin to decide if Trump retakes the White House. Which do you choose?

I choose to replace Washington DC with a random number generator. We'll get much better results than from what we have had there for the last three decades.

I don't think extremes are necessary. We need just a few good leaders to step up and the dominoes will fall as needed in Washington.

And your evidence that the GOP wouldn’t run Trump is what, exactly?

Because at the end of the day, the GOP wants to win. When Trump is losing by 30 points in the polls in a presumptive match-up against the Dem nominee, we'll be joyfully surprised at how quickly the GOP base abandons Trump. This being said; if you are Democrat, you'd prefer Trump to stay in the race as he is the only candidate Biden would have a chance to beat and he'd be a walk in the park victory against another Dem candidate if Biden stepped down.

There’s a reason we keep calling you third party people unserious.

We want Trump to remain the nominee as he gives the Dems the best chance at victory in 2024. If Trump were forced out of the race but But Biden chose to remain in, it would be an easy victory for the GOP. At least Biden has a fighting chance against Trump.

That change isn't currently in plain sight but again, it just takes a few good leaders to surface. They are out there. We need to somehow recruit them and welcome them into our current toxic political landscape so that the detoxing can begin.
