Duran is contradicting Title IX by keeping trans girls on women's teams. Competitive girl athletes know this although mostly they don't complain about it. That's starting to change though as more trans girl athletes win.

Why is the right only interested in trans women playing in women's sports. Trans men play in men's sports too. Of course I guess it's not that out of pocket for the right to be more threatened by trans women then trans men. It's pretty on par for then to only care about regulating and punishing women.

Because their girls are getting beaten by the trans-girls and not getting the scholarships they think their daughter is entitled to; whereas, trans-boys aren't out-competing the cis-boys....

I guess people on the left are happy when their daughters lose to trans girl athletes? How egalitarian of them.

Well 1) trans athletes make up a very small percentage of athletes so the likelihood that this will make a huge difference in their lives is very small and 2) there is always going to be someone better whether it's based on height, or private coaching, or the best equipment, or a lqrger wing span or a million other things. If my kid loses to a trans athlete then they lost because they weren't the better athlete for whatever reason.

It does not bother me. So my kid will be #2 instead of #1. Big whoop. And if my kid isn't number 2 then there are plenty of bio girls beating them.

Why have women’s sports at all in that case? There’s always someone better, right? Who cares if they’re almost all male? If your daughter can’t make the team because she got beat by all the boys, you could just tell her thems’ the breaks, right? What a valuable learning experience…

You sound very emotional.

Way to dodge the question. Why do women’s sports exist, if not to create a space for women to excel without being immediately out-competed by males?

https://www.ibtimes.com/trans-cyclist-wins-female-race-prove-biological-men-are-physically-superior-women-3705095

A South Korean transgender cyclist joined and won a women's cycling competition to prove that biological men are physically superior to biological women.

Na Hwa-rin, South Korea's first-openly transgender athlete, told The Korea Times that she had anticipated all the controversy and transphobic remarks after she competed at this year's Gangwon Sports Festival in eastern Gangwon Province.

Na said she was "more relieved than triumphant" after her victory at the race because she felt she made her point about male physical superiority and gender inclusion in sports

https://www.koreatimes.co.kr/www/sports/2023/07/600_354507.html

"I am not honored. I am not proud of myself at all. I believe other transgender athletes would feel the same way. They may not want to admit it, but they're being selfish. There is no honor as an athlete in that," she said, referring to international transgender athletes who have sparked heated debate about the fairness of their competing against biological women after transitioning."

I'm sure as F going to be that accepting adult without hesitation. It's quite literally the least I can do.

People can’t simultaneously argue that all the child is asking for is to be called something different while also saying if the child isn’t called by their preferred pronouns/names there is a high chance of suicide. Either it is consequential (ie if we don’t call a child by this name or use this pronoun it may adversely affect the child’s mental health and possibly lead to suicide) or it’s just like any other nickname chance and hence inconsequential. If it’s consequential then parents should know. Simple as that.

Do you even have children or are you just bored?

Clearly you can’t address my point so you decided to just dismiss who I am as a person.

Why don’t you start calling your cis child by the wrong name for a month and let us know how that goes.

Come back when you call Sue Joe for a few years and let me know if she is suicidal.

Ugly

My kid is emotionally stable and secure enough that he would just roll his eyes and ignore me, not commit suicide.
Emotional blackmail to get your way is not helping anyone. Maybe you should work on that with your kid.

Make sure you also choose every aspect of his existence. Put him in a bra, make him wear femme clothes, paint his nails, do not allow him to stand up to use the bathroom, make she he only uses the girls toilets. Do not allow him to speak to adults independently about his experience. Tell him he is imagining his experience being a boy. Force him to agree with you. Do not relent. Shame him if he even remotely pushes back or veers off course. Tell no one to believe him because you know better because you are his parent. Rinse repeat for years until he breaks down in some way or leaves home to break free.

Keeping transwomen out of women's sports is actually supporting women.

Transmen that take testosterone are doping when I comes to sports and would be cheating.

Keeping males out of women's sports is not punishment, but basic biological reality. No one is stopping them from joining the men's team.

Choices have consequences. You are welcome to transition, but you cannot hurt women in order to fulfill your need for validation.

Don't co-opt intersex to explain gender expansive, nonbinary, gender fluid, or trans gender. They are not the same issues at all.
