As a Blake parent, this is good news!

Totally agree. I have not heard a single negative word on this. She was very highly regarded during her training.

Heard glowing things about her as well! Blake is already on solid footing and I’m sure she has great ideas to keep it going.

She's ascended to being HS principal rather quickly. She was a teacher at Einstein about 5 years ago and then became AP.

Understandable. But everyone I have spoke to said she was a great teacher with a strong leadership touch, and some develop quicker than others or get the opportunity quicker. She’ll be a solid fit.

Former Key MS & Paint Branch HS principal, Dr. Myriam Yarbrough (Rogers), was appointed Superintendent in Baltimore County yesterday. Formerly Deputy Super under Darryl Williams, who is resigning.

Very interesting to see the MoCo educational leadership pipeline progress at other places. And it starts with principalships, which is why I love following these appointments and looking back, because you never know who it’ll be.

So both Yarbrough and McKnight were MCPS middle school principals about 10 years ago, and now both are superintendents.

If you can handle MS, you're ready for anything!

6th-8th graders change on a dime daily! You never know what you’re going to get.

(Rosa) Isabel Mensah is absolutely incredible. She has been at Rock Creek Forest for 10 years (at least 6 years as AP) and we LOVE her. Huge loss for RCF and a fabulous gain for Rolling Terrace.

Hope this year's crop of do gooders are not blamers because there are way too any deflecting and gaslighting admin out there. I as a teacher want an admin to have to balls to stand up to people who demand grade inflation.

Isn't there enough already?

Admin we it's an open secret among teachers. Usually it's appalling to educators. Biz as usual in the us.
