Me again. I found them. https://fairfaxvotes.org/wp-content/uploads/sites/13/2022/10/HD35-Caucus-Voters-Results-Results-702pm.pdf |
| I’m a Republican who voted for Holly today. I’ll vote for her again in January. |
| Glad that Frisch’s political aspirations were stopped in their tracks. He’s slick and dishonest. |
Yes, too close for comfort. I still don’t understand what Democrat would vote for Frisch. A Democrat’s going to win the seat easily so why not Holly? Who were the clowns who voted for Frisch? |
+1 I felt like Frisch was in it for himself and to have a job that he could use to climb. I felt like Holly has walked the walk and is in it for values/policies that I support. She's been in the classroom. She's worked the process of getting legislation through. She's worked to fulfill needs in shelters. She's done the work to get not only a bachelor's degree, but a masters degree. I feel like Frisch is trying to find something to do. Holly is trying to improve the lives of others. You don't go into teaching to pump up your ego (at the elem level). Yay Holly! |
Frisch sent out 15 times more fliers than Seibold. And people may have been swayed by the names endorsing him. But, clearly, the town of Vienna folks came out in enough numbers to give Seibold the edge.... but it was CLOSE. Frankly, I expected Frisch to win it just b/c he sent out so many more fliers. My DD (18) cast her VERY FIRST official vote for Holly! |
| YAY!! |
|
Frisch is scum and no one really likes him locally, but he does have ties to some wealthy gay Democrats and the local Democratic politicians had anointed him as their progressive voice because they thought he’d be good for fundraising. Holly won because she is decent and invested in the community and had grass roots support.
It shouldn’t have been close but he got the early start and spent more money. |
| He was sitting on a war chest of $150k before the election even started. Holly started with $0 and raised most of her money locally. I was at the polls all three days. What I saw was many of the voters that seemed to connect to Karl's poll workers were older couples. Holly had the moms (and dads) of Vienna and many of the teens who showed up to vote. People who have never been involved in politics, but care about Holly and/or what she's done for women and girls, showed up and made their voices heard. Now, we need to help the people of the Providence district find someone to run against Karl. |
Surely he won’t run again for School Board, will he? He’s already shown that he only viewed the office as a stepping stones and he’s been a total disaster as a School Board member - it’s bad enough that he’s already saddled the community with the Dunn Loring fiasco. |
Was the war chest from the fundraiser with Mary Trump? |
And Dranesville needs to find someone to run against the snobby DINO Elaine Tholen. |
As I understand, it was money from donors and groups outside of Virginia. |
It would be fine if Frisch was raking in money from LBGTQ donors in NYC and California if he was actually doing anything to improve the lives of his local constituents. But he didn’t. For the most part, he neglected us and the one thing he is most responsible for - the Dunn Loring ES boondoggle - always felt like something he was doing to us rather than for us. Good riddance. Hopefully he’ll realize the same thing will happen if he runs for School Board again. |
| I am so pleased with the news of his loss!!! He’s a terrible SB representative-mostly unreachable and always speaking for his own self interests rather than those of the students. I am glad people came out and had their voices heard. |
