That's true; yet Rebecca loved Jack despite his flaws. This show loves some parallels. |
I think Malik is just Deja's first love, that's it. No way will they be together as adults. |
Totally agree with all of this!! It'll be Sophie and I liked Madison's new "friend" too. |
Wow - you're good! All these details I had completely forgotten about. |
| I'm just not seeing Kate and the other music teacher. Was there some hint that they get together? That's another "no chemistry" pairing. |
Here: https://youtu.be/TDoSvb0O6CY Music teacher refers to Kevin as a teacher brother-in-law. It could be a sibling of music teacher marrying Kate. |
Oh wow!! Thank you so much for posting that! I had seen it but totally forgot. |
| Ya'll better be watching because I am not going to be able to hold off on posting about this episode! |

| LOVE Cassidy. I Stan. |

Sorry - episode 5 spoilers to follow:
I found this episode a little choppy in some respects. Randall wins the night with his almost breaking the fourth wall exposition of Kevin's current relationship situation. "It's Cassidy by a hundredth of a second!" I was laughing so hard. And sorry, Kev/Cassidy shipper(s), that seems like a nope. I was actually very satisfied with what Cassidy told him. And she is spot on. She's not in a great place and he actually has no idea what he wants. I definitely think the writers are still teasing us. Obviously, they are steering towards Kevin and Madison next, but we'll see. Kevin Growth Exposition continues. Nice to see Tess and Annie. It kind of sucks that they've been relegated to ensemble cast, but I do like the sibling relationship with Deja. I literally have no idea if Malik and Deja make it, but maybe. I think their plan is stupid and Randall is 100 million percent right - Malik needs to let her go and grow. I think he does and it's going to be a satisfying reunion that everyone loves. I feel like this Rebecca dating bit could have been worked into season 4 or season 5. It's boring and taking up time and I don't like that in this episode it's used solely as a device to create conflict between Kate and Rebecca. |
| Also, that dinner. Classic. Beth was on it. |
| “I don’t really know what blonde you’re talking about.” |
| Why is Mandy Moore not the lead credit in this series? She literally does everything, and has for years. |
| Madison all the way! |
