| Cap blue to VCU and orange to Liberty as well. |
Pride 23’s have 4 commits so far. 3 to D1 and 1 D3. Others are talking to schools. |
Great news! Happy for the girls! |
Where are they committed? |
| I have no doubt that Pride will end up with a number of more commits, the girls on the team have some talent to play at the next level and I am surprised that more have not gone yet. 23 Black is not a bad team. The issue is that many bragged on here that they were competing with Capital in the recruiting game, when, in fact, it turns out that they were on par and competing with VA Metro. |
| From the looks of it, I would say pride is not competing with va metro. Seems as though metro has way more commits than pride. Wherever they end up, wish all the players good luck. |

Talent wise, they are on par with Capital or perhaps a slight notch below and wouldn't have any problem beating VA Metro - currently ranked #79 in the country. Where the talent is lacking is with KM and the well compensated recruiting coordinator, who has a clear conflict of interest as the AD of an all-girls private school in Baltimore.
This group agreed to stay together on Pride when Lindsay Teeters was going to be the recruiting coordinator. At that time, KM had owned the club for a short time and no one realized she was only about cashing checks and ignoring the promises she made. LT left after one year to coach at AU and it then became a DIY process for these girls. There is no shortage of D1/NESCAC level talent on the team, and KM has done them all a great disservice. As long as she runs the club, people should look elsewhere if they want to get their DD recruited. |
| My humble opinion, I think a metro vs pride game would be closer than you think. Yes I believe pride would ultimately win but would be close. Metro ranked #37 in the country a couple weeks ago and beat higher ranked teams in the low 20s, but never get any respect. But we all know that the us club rankings don’t mean squat. Case in point- about 1.5 weeks ago they had rev23 black as #1. Just sayin….. |
| Another Ivy committ for Capital blue 23. Team is almost 100% committed to D1 schools now. |
| Pretty unbelievable commitment list for this team. Just another Tuesday with an Ivy commitment for Capital. Very happy for these girls. Also saw that the Pride goalie committed to West Point. Congrats to her. She is a good player. |
This does not surprise me at all. Sounds like KM is providing lip service for these girls on recruiting similar to Pride offering a Draw specialist for the teams. Looks good on the internet but the reality is far different. All smoke and mirrors. |
| Lots of kids commit w/o a recruiter, but they have to really work the system on their own. I wonder whether the Pride girls were promised recruiting help, then if none happened they are scrambling, now. |
| So where are the Pride girls committed? One to West Point, one to Richmond...any others? Good for them. Someone is obviously doing something at Pride if those two got committed. I think the complaining parents are just sour grapes because they expected to do better than Capital because KM sold them that. |
No and it’s not Pride parents complaining so much as outsiders like me noting how pathetic the Pride recruitment machine is. You don’t have to be a genius or a Pride parent to see that KM and her recruiting director have fallen far far short of their responsibility to help the juniors committ. Every other club at the same level, and many at far lower levels, have much higher numbers of girls comitted at this point. Plus, the entire point of an elite club is to get the girls committed. Yes KM lied and sold a bag of bs and yes she promised a great recruitment director and program which nothing but sales tactics. Stop defending the indefensible. The Pride juniors are too good to have so few committed. |
| Any Pride parents who went all in by deciding to send their kid to Visi must be a licking their wounds right about now. |
