The father did a laughing walkabout with the FBI in a nature preserve. They went along with it to pump him for information. I bet this officer has a decade in interrogation under his belt,

The man is all smiles. Gabby is dead and his son has disappeared over the horizon. What does he have to smile about???v

His son isn't 'missing' and he knows it. That's what he's smiling about. Cretin.

I wonder if he stashed anything driving home from Wyoming. And went back to get it.

Definitely not the smile of someone who is truly worried about their son or thinks he’s dead.

Insanity. And their almost DIL was brutally murdered. Even if they don’t think their son did it, shouldn’t they still feel the loss?

That's just weird that he is smiling. None of the options for Brian would have a sane parent smiling:
-he's dead
-he's on the run and they know where
-he's on the run and they have no idea where

Any decent parent wound be stressed out of their minds on a daily basis with any of these. not appearing at ease and smiling.

Wow. Looks like the FBI combed their ranks for a dead ringer of Brian. And then sent him into the woods with the dad to maybe see if it would trigger an emotional reaction or confession. Brilliant.

Is it me or do the mother and father have a depressed, creepy look about them, in general? I don't mean depress4ed about these series of events - I mean the depressed look of someone who has had that facial expression all their lives.

I think Brian is in Canada. He knows the language, layers of clothes can make him look different, he could cover his hand tattoos with gloves, and everyone expects him to have run to Mexico.

How easy is it to sneak into Canada?

To me, Brian himself has a creepy face and looks like a weirdo.

I just think his parents look old and not committed to life - hard to explain, there is a certain negative element to the way they carry themselves (I mean, their son being a murderer on the loose, aside).
