That wouldn't really matter. Brazil does have an extradition treaty with the US, but regardless, even countries that don't have extradition treaties with the US would certainly arrest and extradite someone like Brian who is a murdered. Safety from extradition really only comes if you are politically persecuted or some sort of political value to the country you are in, like Russia with Edward Snowden or Cuba with Assata Shakur.

Interesting. I wonder if they found burned belongings that are too fragile to move so brought dad out to look. It seems like intact belongings could have been brought to the parents for ID.

One look at that man gardening tells me he isn’t going to be searching where his son is actually at. I’m thinking he’s safe housed away somewhere either in Mexico or some other location.

+1

Mexico has been my guess, all along.

I don't see how a little white gringo is going to fare in Mexico long term. Maybe he can mingle in touristy areas or Mexico City. Canada or Europe is more likely.

Where would he get the $$$ to be on the run?

Eh, I think there are enough areas in Mexico where he could law low. Or he's moved on to another country. Canada is a stretch both because of distance and entry requirements/challenges. Europe the same. At this point I am sure FBI has asked all its foreign partners to check if his passport has been used/registered. Same with the airlines.

And living in Canada or Europe without leaving a digital trail would be very difficult.

Money will get harder as time goes on, but start with a lot of cash from mom and dad and then work out a system. If his parents are funneling money to him then that could eventually be discovered, but I think you have to have something more than suspicion to start digging around in the parents' financials.

How much cash could the parents have had laying around on short notice? If they withdrew a lot of cash once Brian returned home the FBI would probably know about it.

He is infamous in Brazil.

Agree. They presumably didn’t know anything before the end of August and the FBI could easily track withdrawals made since then.

They seem to own multiple juice shops and also recently emptied a storage locker. I’d say enough to get him far enough away. Many people keep pretty good savings accounts.

News story this evening saying FBI brought the dad out to look at a “fresh” campsite and have him point out trails he thinks Brian would use.

I’m sure they are all being tracked. How to get the money out unnoticed?

They would not extradite from Brazil if Brian risked the death penalty or more than 20 years in jail. They would inky extradite if an (binding) agreement was made to abide by those aspects.

He is infamous in Brazil.

So what? Brazil and brazillians deal with much worse crimes daily. Plus, he would be really well there, especially if he decided to go to someplace other than Rio de Janeiro or Sao Paulo.

A PP brought up a good point saying how a RT flight ✈️ was likely to co$t more.
The Laundrie’s attorney stated that both Gabby AND Brian financed the trip which seems irrelevant to me unless there is something going over my head on this….??!

Anyway, it seems Brian’s parents have not left their home for days.
(I wonder how they purchase their groceries, go to the pharmacy and/or make post office runs??)

Brian’s Dad was seen once yesterday opening the screen door of the home to retrieve a package 📦 that was delivered to the house.

Dog The Bounty Hunter’s estranged daughter is publicly stating that her Father is only investing himself in this case for publicity/relevance purposes.
She is not convinced that he is really concerned about catching Brian at all.

Lady, don't you remember 2020 aka COVID? We all stayed home, its not that difficult.

Yes, we all did stay home but not 100% like the Laundries are. I went outside on occasion just like most people. While I did get everything delivered to my home, I also ventured out from time to time. In other words, I was not a prisoner in my home during that time. I took walks outside, washed my car, took my dog to get groomed, etc.

It is not healthy to not get access to any fresh air. Brian’s parents hiding inside all day/night must be hell. Though a hell they created themselves I fully acknowledge.

I would do very well if I had to stay inside my home for weeks on end... Wait, I did just that last year! Internet, kindle, groceries delivered!!

It turned out there wasn't a campsite. CNN reported the wrong thing earlier.
