He will wipe the floor with Vance, and knows it. Vance has yet to respond.

Vance is not stupid. He is reasonably well spoken, and at least trained to be a lawyer. While I don't think this debate will move the needle in any way, I also don't think anyone is wiping the floor with anyone else.

Oh please, Walz is far more knowledgable and experienced. It will be Quayle v Benson II. But true it didn't move the needle.

Query - is the ability and willingness to real time fact check BS attempts to “swift-boat” a candidate the good side of so much experience with misinformation and conspiracy theories?

It gives me hope.

We can all see what a good man Tim Walz is and why Harris picked him. It says a lot of good things about her that she close him as well.

People can be “good” and not have what it takes to lead a country. A leader needs to be strategic, driven and even ruthless to an extent. I have seen that in the Republican VP candidate, but not so much the Democratic one.

Tim Walz might be a “nice guy,” but in no way do I see him ready to lead the country (if necessary) through tough - and unpopular - decisions. Or Kamala Harris, for that matter.

This is why for all his gaffe's I was not ready to trade Biden's 40+ years experience in federal government for anyone! I think Tim Walz will be as good as anyone in the field in the role though. I mean if we can survive aww shucks GWB we should be OK.

It's a good, positive, 'working man/woman roots' ad.

Walz is really relatable.

Neither Trump or Vance resemble anyone I know.

Totally agree. Just ask Tim Ryan of OH. Vance trounced him in several debates

Not seeing any evidence of any trouncing. Vance only won his race by six points and every other statewide Republican won by three times that margin.

I think she's loving this.

One thing I really like is that these two seem to click as work partners. The energy is up, and neither is axing that for the other.

Biden and Harris seemed fine, but it felt like a compromise of expediency They would work together and get things done, but that wasn't a pairing that brought energy. This does.
