S. Carolina double murder

God chance it is the husband/father or eldest son. I’m sure that’s where the police focus is.

Look for the motive - inheritance, cover up, revenge etc…

Follow the money. That's where the answer lies.

He continued, saying, "In any event, when the Deputies arrived, Alex Murdaugh was not at the scene. He was picked up by a good Samaritan and who drove him toward the hospital."

Griffin says he does not know the identity of the "good Samaritan."

"They ultimately met up with the ambulance on the highway, where he was examined and because of the extent of his injuries, the EMTs call for him to be airlifted to the hospital. He had significant head trauma and there was blood at the scene, which is indicated by the evidence cones placed in the roadway. I understand that most of the cones mark blood.

What kind of good samaritan picks up someone with a bullet in their head??? I’d just stay there with them and call 911.

That didn’t strike me as weird - it’s a rural area. You’d call 911 and start driving towards the hospital. Report said they met the ambulance on the road. If he could walk and talk, it wouldn’t make sense to just stay there and walk. It’s not like here where they can be there in five minutes.

Yeah he probably even knew the people who picked him. They no doubt went to his wife+son's funeral 60 days ago a well. Small communities like that know each other's families for generations. No one else lives there.

EM is likely the primary suspect. Followed by his son. However, the way this case is going - you never know.

CNN just published a summary of the legal issues and this family. A lot of attention now.

Holy crap. You cannot make this s$&t up.

If you wrote this as a fiction novel, publishers would roll their eyes and toss it in the slush pile as too far fetched and unbelievable.

I think this family is very corrupt.

The younger son likely had a bounty on his head for being responsible for Mallory Beach’s death.
Someone related to her likely was tired of waiting around for justice to take place so they likely took matters into their own hands.

Small chance it could have been the Dear old Dad.

I think he faked getting shot in the head later on.

It’s usually the husband, and he found them right after they were killed. What are the odds.

Well a murder suspect has just been arrested for trying to kill Alex Murdaugh (the father) in that drive-by shooting on his car. So unless he hired a fake hitman, its sounding like a hit was taken out on him and his family got in the way.
