The whitewash is Bill Barr, who has dismantled the work that Mueller did. |
Well, that's real encouraging to know that our FBI agents at the top level would rather entrap someone in a lie than get to the truth.
I don't believe that is everyday actions. |
Really? It's "standard prep" for investigators to strategize about getting someone fired? Since when does the FBI make staffing decisions for executive branch appointments? |
Whitewash? What? He was offered a Cooperation Agreement, which are agreements that are offered to criminals. He accepted, since he's a criminal, but he didn't really provide much help to the government. Nonetheless, they weren't going to argue for an increased sentence. Up until he went full Sidney Powell. |
No. The whole thing was based on a false attack. Russian Collusion. Catching him in a lie (which the FBI originally said was not a lite) was the only thing they had on him. But, that would have looked silly--especially after they got him fired. Cooperation was an excuse to act like they were being altruistic. The people on the Mueller team should be investigated. It appears they withheld exculpatory materials from Flynn. That is illegal. |
Yeah, everyday actions is when the NSA is being paid hundreds of thousands by a foreign government. And lies about anything and everything, to anybody and everybody. That's everyday, nowadays. |
You're not paying very close attention. Sullivan is. |
Really? The sentencing memo describes "substantial assistance" in the request for a downward departure in sentencing. |
Yes, the government is being awfully nice to him. Aren't they? The government recommends but doesn't decided the sentence. The judge does that. |
I know that. But, it is disingenuous to say that Flynn did not provide much help, when the prosecutors said that he did. |
"Russian Collusion" was not a false attack. Mueller could not come to a conclusion, but he couldn't rule it out. So, it's not false. |
The Rafiekian trial fell apart because Flynn didn't cooperate. The reason he asked for a 2 year extension on his sentencing hearing was because he didn't have much actual cooperation to show, not much to warrant a reduced sentence. He still doesn't. |
It was based on a false premise. Period. There was no collusion. Except of course from the Clinton campaign and the DNC who paid for Russian disinformation. And, oddly, Mueller chose not to include that in his investigation. Wonder why? |
The Stone warrants show that Trump's campaign was awash in foreign influence. Illicit foreign influence. Flynn was a part of that. |
Why wasn't he charged with conspiracy? Why wasn't ANYONE charged with conspiracy? |
