Latest rumor is thugs were moved to another Vienna high school. So much for punishment. I hope the victim’s parents sue the school and the parents of the thugs.

Ok...this burns me up...both JMHS and Marshall are at capacity to crowded. Both schools have solid, competitive programs and families do what they can to have their students attend either - by boundary/move in, pupil placement, Marshall Academy, even sports teams, as a few examples. So now a student can back door the way in by simply having a discipline violation or ten? Really? So once in school suspension is meted out, then you get to transfer to a nearby high school as a freshman? That's the protocol? Just foist the students with severe disciplinary problems to another nearby high school? I thought that was why we had Cedar Lane and Bryant Center and Mountain View alternatives schools?

Oakton HS is off our list now. This incidence shows what’s taught at home. Sad! I wish worse action should have been taken to teach kids a lesson, so others don’t repeat.

We are going to move too! Might go to DC, Montgomery county, or possibly Manassas.
