I'd terminate and finish my degree, without hesitation. How on earth are those 5,000 fertilized eggs in a special containment device "human beings?!" You know they're not. You know they're not 100% totally equal to a 3 year old (let alone worth 5,000 3-year-olds). Come the F on girl. |
They don't get jobs or they take jobs that pay under the table so they can claim they have no income. |
It's my body, my right to privacy, what I would choose to do with my own body is none of your business either way. |
| You know all these laws will make IVF illegal, right? |
Yes, I get it that the prolifers want to think rape is a very small percentage but it often goes unreported. Heck, I'm an adult and wouldn't want to tear up my vagin@ for a rapist's baby. I can't believe we would let a child be traumatized like this. |
| Women matter! We are not hosts unless we want to be! |
Even with it being a small number, though, so what? Does the fact that they’re a small percentage of women seeking abortions mean that they’re irrelevant? Disposable? Morality shouldn’t be based on how many people you’re talking about. Either it’s morally acceptable to compel these women to continue these pregnancies or it’s not. Numbers don’t matter. |
No need to educate myself. Margaret Sanger is my hero and I thoroughly understand and support her teachings on Eugenics. I am pro abortion and advocate for late term abortions because that is when problems with fetuses and pregnant women are often discovered. |

Once again, The Onion nails it with its satire/reality blur.
Abused 12-Year-Old Alabama Girl Doesn’t Think She Can Handle Being A Mom On Top Of Everything Else MONTGOMERY, AL—Conveying her concerns that the additional obstacles presented by parenthood would be too much to bear, 12-year-old abuse survivor Abigail Dunn was reportedly worried Wednesday that she wouldn’t be able to handle being a mom on top of everything else she had going on. “I have several book reports and a big algebra test coming up in the next few weeks, and I had even been thinking about trying out for my school’s chorus, but giving birth and caring for an infant is going to really cut into my studying time,” said the seventh-grader, who acknowledged that the intense feelings of shame and fear associated with trauma had already placed her significantly behind her peers and added that there would likely be even greater challenges to raising the offspring of the man who attacked her. “This year has been hard in a lot of ways. We had to move to a new neighborhood, and my family life has been very, very bad, especially recently. My relationship with my stepdad is pretty much a nightmare. I wish I were responsible enough to look after a baby, but I’m just so scared that I won’t be. I’m really sorry.” At press time, Dunn had expressed hope that her unborn child would be friends with the babies of all her fellow pregnant classmates. https://local.theonion.com/abused-12-year-old-alabama-girl-doesn-t-think-she-can-h-1834787176?utm_content=Main&utm_medium=SocialMarketing&utm_campaign=SF&utm_source=Facebook&fbclid=IwAR29TSPTmME4gUmw_L0PJFE24qj8CnrxMAYAn-0aR7PP1_SPPqQEOW5bGnY |
That’s some willful ignorance right there. What you said isn’t true, but in a few months, if a black woman (or any other woman) wants to get an abortion in Georgia or Alabama (barring a few exceptions), she’ll be denied it or face prison because of white men. |
| Haven’t read all 19 pgs of this but how many abortions are gotten on average across ALL women in a leftime? I imagine the avg is like 0 or less than 1 right bc a lot of women never have an abortion, right? I just don’t see this as THAT big of a deal — if you live in Alabama won’t you just seek it out in FL now (as I imagine Mississippi and Tennessee have/will have similar laws)? |
| This law will affect poor people more than rich. Rich women will always have access. |
