More defections from DA to ECNL

All the clubs going back to ECNL are former ECNL clubs.

FCV has strong ties with WYNT and strong college connections with a excellent recruiting track record.

The last point is what ECNL is all about and they know FCV will get kid’s recruited.

ECNL will welcome all high performing clubs that they can get their hands on and if they don’t then you should question why you are paying for the league.

So bottom line, if DA crashes and there are now 90 new clubs for ECNL to pick and choose from you’d better believe performance and a solid track record will matter. He

For as large as Loudoun is they were still never able to be granted full DA status on the boys side. Why is that? What can Loudoun point to that demonstrates that they develop players and get kids recruited. All Loudoun can point to are a bunch of U10 and U11 Jeff Cup wins and a bunch of CCL league championships.

And for as large as Loudoun is they frankly suck in ECNL.

I bet ECNL figures when GDA crashes, all those FCV kids just go to the other 7 ECNL programs within a 2 hour drive.

No, ECNL knows that FCV has a proven track record. Kids go to FCV for the proven track record of college placement. College placement is ECNL’s brand. A large player pool helps at U11 win Jeff Cup but Loudoun has not demonstrated an ability to develop. They were never able to even land a full DA. VDA was granted full DA status after a couple of years in existence.

I know you are at Loudoun and you’re all just so happy to be in ECNL and wearing the patch but if as a club Loudoun fails to deliver on the promise of the league then you’d better pray that DA survives.

Again... Not from Loudon.

Since you continuously misspell Loudoun I have no doubt that you are not from Loudoun.

Idiots. They are tophat and socal blues. That's exactly who they are....and they will be welcomed back with open arms. Are you guys new to the Nova scene?

There are quite a few delusional Loudoun 07G parents in this thread. So the answer to your question is yes, of course. Can’t you tell by all the ECNL jerking off in this fantasy thread.

Loudon, Spirit VA, and now FCV. Why are all of these parent groups so crazy?

Loudoun*. See? Fixed it.

The ECNL is not in the business of kicking clubs out, they will give Loudoun everything they need to succeed, denying FCV the chance to come back would strengthen Loudoun.

Not a single full boys DA has pulled out of DA to go to ECNL. Loudoun went ECNL because they were not granted and were never going to granted full DA status so ECNL is happy to take on DA's scraps. On top of it, with DC United moving in next door to Loudoun Soccer Park their DA was always Dead Man Walking.

If Arlington does not get full DA they could consider going to ECNL too. But full DA status on the boys side is earned and Loudoun has never earned it.

VDA is doing fine though.

VDA doesn’t matter. They lose their best players to DCU for boysys and kids will go to McLean and bryc on the girls.

FCV has a proven track record of development and recruitment.

FCV was successful in ECNL. FCV is successful in DA.

On what grounds would ECNL deny FCV from reinstatement?

There’s no development. They left ECNL on bad terms. It would kill Loudoun. That’s why.

Everyone loses their best kids to DC United. That is how DA with MLS Academies are supposed to work. If VDA is developing kids consistently that the DC United want then VDA is doing their job in the eyes of US Soccer.

DA is supposed to be a pyramid that feeds into MLS clubs where they are located.

Second year in ECNL and Loudoun doesn't have a single team in a single age group better than 7th place in their division.

What has Loudoun accomplished for ECNL to deny FCV being reinstated?

FCV will be denied ECNL because there is no interest in the club below U13. They cannot even field certain age groups anymore like U9. The FCV younger ages used to be competitive. That has ended and nobody is coming to DA tryouts.

The writing is on the wall that they are a failed club. Everyone in youth soccer in the area knows this except you.
