It's now easier to perform an abortion in the state of New York than to legally apply a tattoo.

So, when men are ready to do this, then we can ban abortion outright.

This is the only reasonable solution for banning abortion.

Criminalize negligent insemination. Aborted fetuses to be DNA tested and the fathers tracked down.

Because people are always talking about the abortions they had.

Why they would not talk about it? If they are so proud that they have control of their body, what to be ashamed of?

What is wrong with you?

Nothing wrong with me. But I assume if you fought for this cause, you had a freedom to choose what to do with your body after you managed to get pregnant, you exercised that right: would you be very proud of yourself and tell everyone that you are a strong independent woman who does whatever she want with her body?

Another thing your assumptions miss: that no matter how grateful someone is to have control over their own body, and no matter how sure they are they’re making the right choice, it’s still a hard, unpleasant and emotional one. Why do you all assume women are heartless, irresponsible whores?

Arguably, you have named 2 women who are enjoying a whorish lifestyle. (I don’t personally agree, but giving you the benefit for the sake of the argument.) That is no reason to constrain the rest of us. Also, not sure I really want to enshrine a definition of “whorish lifestyle” in the law, especially when it is not equally applied to male behavior.

Yes as the progress continues with the progressives being free and selfish woman is applauded. Males can't deliver babies.

So you admit it then - you see women as vessels and men can be free from the the consequences of sex.

It's always been easier to get a full term abortion in MS, WV, and AK than in NY. How about that OP?

Why do you think infertile people want to adopt those babies?

If you are so pro-adoption why aren’t you adopting them?

My sister, who had fertility issues, adopted our younger sister's baby. They haven't decided how to discuss the whole issue with the child (a toddler) yet, but lines of communication are open.

If people reach out, there's always someone willing to help.

How often are you referring to, exactly? Who are these women you know using abortion as birth control?

It amazes me how people who probably have never been in the position to even be pregnant have such black and white views on what women who are getting abortions are doing and why they are doing it.

I grew up UMC, as did my group of friends.

I can name four off the bat who had anywhere from 1-3 abortions in their early 20s. All four are college-educated, self-sufficient women.

There really was no excuse for these abortions. They were careless.

So you think they should have been forced to have those babies then?

Do you think three abortions as BC is acceptable when you're a FT working working with insurance?

It's careless as hell. I took one of my friends to her second abortion and said if there was a third, I was out. She had two. My other friend had three.

careless

If you can spend the time having unprotected sex, you can find the time to carry a healthy baby to full term and give it up to some couple longing for a child.

Common sense is dead.

Well there you go. It's really about shaming women for having sex outside the marriage. Don't you think you should shame the men too?

Why do you think it's shaming an intelligent woman to think that she should use commonsense about getting pregnant and having multiple abortions for non-medical reasons?

Do you think she should feel ashamed about getting pregnant and having multiple abortions for non-medical reasons?

Yes

I do, too. Unless you're suffering from some psychological condition, any educated, self-sufficient woman should know that abortions are not BC.

And it's not about shaming women for having sex outside of marriage. You fools really love to twist the sh*t out of an issue. It's about being smart enough to PROTECT yourself. What intelligent woman who's not suffering from some disorder has unprotected sex enough times to catch that one egg that drops? and THEN has multiple abortions to "solve" the issue???

That's a lot of unprotected or careless sex!

shame her? absolutely! But it won't help, I'm sure.

I get that not all women agree with me, but I view it as a privilege to be a woman and able to have a baby.

So based on that one experience you think most infertile people want to adopt these babies? What about the ones who have serious genetic defects? Or fetal alcohol syndrome?

Why aren't YOU adopting these babies?

No, there really isn't always someone willing to help a lot of women in unfortunate situations and the fact that you believe so shows how little you know outside your own world.

That's your sister. How about you?
Have your about you?
Have you adopted a stranger's baby with severe health problems? Time to get on it.

How come that didn't work in Romania?
