It's now easier to perform an abortion in the state of New York than to legally apply a tattoo.

Why go through the trouble of ending a child's life if it's viable without its mother?

Similar legislation has been proposed by Kathy Tran (D) in Virginia now.
It's sickening.

Here's the exchange between Todd Gilbert (R-Shenandoah) and Kathy Tran (D-Fairfax):

Gilbert: So how late in the third trimester would you be able to do that?

Tran: It’s very unfortunate that our physician witnesses were not able to attend today.

Gilbert: No, I’m talking about your bill. How late in the third trimester could a physician perform an abortion if he indicated it would impair the mental health of the woman?

Tran: Or physical health.

Gilbert: Okay. I’m talking about the mental health.

Tran: Through the third trimester. The third trimester goes all the way up to 40 weeks.

Gilbert: Okay. But to the end of the third trimester?

Tran: Yep. I don’t think we have a limit in the bill.

Gilbert: Where it’s obvious a woman is about to give birth, that she has physical signs that she is about to give birth. Would that be a point at which she could still request an abortion if she was so certified? She’s dilating.

Tran: Mr. Chairman, that would be a decision that the doctor, the physician, and the woman would make at that point.

Gilbert: I understand that. I’m asking if your bill allows that.

Tran: My bill would allow that, yes.

^so what? MS, AK, and WV already allows that now. Instead of being so outraged about what VA *might* do, why not be more outraged at what those states are already doing and have been doing for years.

^ I don't understand how that proposed VA law is any different than what they have now where late term abortion is only allowed for the life or health of the woman is threatened. The majority of states don't allow abortion post viability, *except* in the case of the mother's health. Same for NY. Seriously, what is the big deal with what Cuomo stated about NY's law?

^ per that link, Alaska has no limit or threshold on abortion. Interesting.

What is sickening? It’s for the health of the mother. Oh right. You hate her.

Aborting the baby right before it is born? Are you kidding?
At this point in the pregnancy, she has to deliver in order to abort. This is not about the health of the mother.
This is infanticide. It's sickening.
Watch the video. You can tell that Ms. Tran does not want to admit that this would be baby killing.

Allowing the baby AND the mother to live
- is what's critical.

Since our society expects women to raise a child without financial or any other kind of assistance, women should have the right to make the decision alone as to whether she will have the child. If society actually valued children and life, we would have better daycare options, better public education, better poverty assistance programs. Please stop with the infanticide and murder cries and actually show us through child-friendly policies!

There is a reason sperm is required for pregnancy... the intent is that a woman would not HAVE to raise a child without financial or any other kind of assistance because..... there would be a father there to help with the finances, emotional support, childcare, etc.
But, activist feminists have lectured women for years that men are expendable - not necessary - to raise children.
Spare me your outrage.

We should outlaw negligent insemination.

Then force the dads to pay up. Like actual reasonable amounts of child support, not the piddly checks some women I know get after a divorce.

One woman gets a couple bucks a month because her ex is in jail for brutally attacking/raping her when she said she wanted a divorce.

I'm telling you, requiring vasectomies is the only solution to getting rid of abortion. The unwanted baby rate would drop to almost nothing. No teen pregnancies, too. It would solve so many issues.

”Since this probably won’t be the last we see of that Kathy Tran abortion clip, here’s what her bill actually does.

Third-trimester abortion is already legal in Virginia when the mother’s life or health is at risk. The bill loosens those restrictions. It doesnt say anything goes.”
