Men, be honest, if your wife was fat

I could lose 15 pounds. If someone were 5' tall and a size 14, then yes that is fat. But taller women spread it out differently and don't look fat.

I am your height and have worked all year to get back down to a size 6 after I hit what I considered rock bottom, size 12. At size 12, you DO outwardly look fat. Hate to break it to you.

It's almost like not everyone has the same body as you... but that would be crazy....

NO, what is crazy is her (your?) assertion that taller women who are size 14 "spread it out differently and don't look fat." Some don't. But by her own description of herself, she's not one of them.

I realize it probably reflects poorly on me but no.

Look, a size 12-14 is a big girl. You might look soft and fat, or you might look more solid and thick. But either way, if you are fitting into a size 12-14 you are large, and by most people's standards, you would look better less large. Ok? You just would. Sorry.

Would you still be sexually attracted to her?

Part of this answer I am basing on a lot of posts using size of clothing...12, 14, 16....

Wife? The answer is yes. She is early 50's, 5'5'' and was recently 170 with her hitting sizes in the range above and yes I was still sexually attracted to her since our intimacy is based on more than that. She has gotten her weight down by 30 to 35 lbs and yes she looks better nekkid. Does that stir me a bit more? Sure but not that much more. FWIW her current weight is probably about 10 or so lbs more than when we met 20 years ago.

Would I have been as attracted etc. at the higher weight if I had just met her? Probably since it's about more than that. At my age there is an expectation that a mature woman who has had children will have more of a renaissance type figure. When I was 20 I would consider that she would likely go from that 170 to 250 or more 20 years later so I might not ask her out.

Look, I'm not the poster you were referring to. But a tall woman could absolutely look small at a size 12. I'm sorry you looked like garbage, but that has nothing to do with anyone else. Get over it and move on with your life. Not everyone has a good figure nor does everyone have cute faces. You obviously have neither. Life goes on.

I assume not. Otherwise you would have looked good at the larger size. Not everyone has a potbelly at that size

5'7" is not that tall, certainly not tall enough to look "small" as a 12. By the way, I look awesome. Trust me. Sorry you are bitter, Chubbs. Maybe you are hangry. Go have another donut.

I doubt it. Sounds like you have a messed up fat distribution if you couldn't handle that extra weight. I am not 5'7 nor am I a size 12/14- but I know women that size and they are hot and get loads of hot dudes. But you obviously are not, so... I won't rub salt in the wound. I would give you some advice but... you can't fix genetics, uggo.

Guy here. I don't know or care about womens dress sizes. Everyone looks better and is more attractive when they are fit though - and that includes us guys.

Disagree. I find muscles on women to be very unattractive.

Oooh, ok! I think we have a culture clash in play here. See, in my socioeconomic circle, size 12 even on a 5'7" is practically obese. But maybe in whatever dumpy circle you travel in, size 12/14 is svelte by comparison to the norm. Yeeehaaa, rock on, fat hotties! Lol

curves are far sexier than the skeleton body so many woman seem to strive for.
