Men, be honest, if your wife was fat

Would you still be sexually attracted to her?

Why the hell do you care about me and my wife?
Worry about the lack of love in your own damn marriage.

+1 Go find a twink

Most Aphrodite statues from classic Greek/Roman tradition are, AT MOST, one size bigger than would be considered an ideal female body today. A typical classical Greek statue of a female would be of average height, slim to average build, small breasts, slim arms, slightly rounded belly, strong legs, slim calves.

Stop perpetuating the myth that fat, plump or obese women were ever considered beautiful. The preponderance of idealized female beauty in classical painting and architecture points to the truth that slimness was always attractive, and fat never was.

No way. I look a lot like ye Aphrodite statues of olde and definitely am a few sizes up from the "bones protruding" figures we usually see in the media. And that's not even adjusting for height.

Please post the image of the statue that you think you look like.

You can take your pic, most of the famous images of Aphrodite look very similar if not the exact same body type

You just proved my point. None of the images you posted support the "full butts, bellies, thighs" nonsense. The women in these pictures are height/weight proportionate, with small breasts and shapely legs. They are perhaps one size up from what is desired today, and their bellies are slightly rounded. But animate them, put them in today's clothes, and they would be imminently desirable. No one said anything about "protruding bones" model, most people realize that's a body designed to sell clothes, not attract desire.

On size up? Lady, no they're most certainly not! Like I said- I have this EXACT body type and I wear a size 8 and sometimes a 10- at 5'5. That's several sizes above what is promoted in the media.

Yep. More to love.

What, exactly are women's sizes? Does size 14 corresponds to a particular set of measurements? (Yes I searched but was only confused.)

Hahahahahahahahaha! Correspond to measurements. *wiping tears away from eyes*

There is no universal sizing for women's clothes. I have clothes in sizes 4 - 8 and they all fit the same.

Look, most people understand that "what's promoted in the media" does not represent a realistic body type. Size 8 is one size above size 6, a universally desired, realistic, healthy, height/weight proportionate, beautiful size that looks good in most clothes.

Yes, they generally do. In most stores you will be about the same size, going up or down. Some stores are notoriously too big or small but generally most stores have very similar sizing.

But clearly, a 14 would be too roomy for you, right?

Then maybe you need to find a time travel machine.

Yes. The largest size I ever fit was a 12. I weighed 20 lbs more than I do now.

Why on earth would I do that? This comment is nonsensical (like most of your posts)
