The thread can just end. There’s an idea. But stop starting making dumb off topic statements like NCI not being an elite meet to try to deflect from the point of the thread which was Tuckahoe’s Board decision and the ramifications of it.

The sheer volume of off topic discussions and inaccurate information (purposeful or in ignorance) is astounding. Yet the discussion of NCI meets, Olympians, and prelim/final format is where you draw the line. Thanks for letting everyone know in a separate thread, thereby furthering this inane thread. That's like quitting social media and drafting a huge post to tell everyone you are quitting. Just don't post and people will move to the next hot topic, like banning tech suits in NVSL or how much better things are at Metros.

I think Machine might be distracted by all this. They just entered a bunch of age groupers into the Sr Champs meet. Top seed in women's 50 back is a 9 year old with an actual 51 second 50 back, versus the #2 seed 16 year old with 51 in the 100. 😂😂😂

Ha. That is unfortunate. There are a couple of those. It’s bc the qualifying time was the 100, but the software programs aren’t set up for that so individuals had to read and understand. I think this must have been happening all over. We got an email asking parents to pay attention
