How dare someone on DCUM spew inaccurate information… |
How do you get admin to just shut this down! Beating a dead horse and so much misinformation it is insane.
Parents do better. Be better. Set examples for your children to not gossip and not spread inaccurate rumor for everyone. SO simple. Listen up. Machine will be just fine York will be just fine Tuckahoe will run their pool as they want T team will be what it is Parents will take their children to swim where they feel is best Children will have meets to swim in Pretty simple. Think that covers it. |

Parents do better. Be better. Set examples for your children to not gossip and not spread inaccurate rumor for everyone. SO simple. Listen up. Machine will be just fine York will be just fine Tuckahoe will run their pool as they want and be totally shady in the process because that is their right T team will be what it is Parents will take their children to swim where they feel is best Children will have meets to swim in as long as anyone invites them to participate which is questionable Pretty simple. Think that covers it. |
Haha, clearly someone not ready to let it go. Make this thread 19 pages, 25, 30!!! |
Riley and NCI are super fast , but winter classic meet finals are extremely comparable. |
Suggestion:
If you like T, join his club. If you don’t like T, stay at your current club. If you swim for tuckahoe, work hard year round to swim fast for your team. If you don’t swim for tuckahoe, work hard year round to swim fast for your team. I think I’ve covered all the permutations. Who cares about the fairness of the RFP process. The die has been cast. Use the above matrix. |
Just Make sure T actually has everything set up and meets to go to before moving your kid |
I think tuckahoe members have a right to be concerned their board is apparently shady and makes decisions that are not transparent or in their best financial interest.
All the other issues…who cares. |
No way NCI is fastest. That's wildly inaccurate. |
I agree, I think NIC is average at best. At least Turkeyclaus has prelims and finals. Not sure how you have a “winter championship” meet without prelims and finals. I’ve been to both meets with swimmers. "Average" ... probably why athletes like Olympic medalist Kieran Smith swam it last year. |
It’s absolutely correct…and there are Finals at NCI btw. It’s also absolutely correct that the Tuckahoe Board is shady (can’t let the thread get off track) |

I’ve been to both meets with swimmers. "Average" ... probably why athletes like Olympic medalist Kieran Smith swam it last year. Just because an Olympian shows up doesn't mean the meet is fast. They may have needed times or a run through, but that doesn't make the entire field of competition faster. |
Is this part of the low IQ attack plan? |

They may have needed times or a run through, but that doesn't make the entire field of competition faster. Correct, an Olympian swimming doesn't automatically mean that the meet is fast. However, I assume that someone of Smith's caliber isn't traveling from CT (LSC) or Florida (college) to attend what is described as an "average" meet. I'm just highlighting another instance of misinformation; NCI is not an "average" meet. |
