I'm having a hard time believing this post. Most black people have never said defund the police, nor has the White House, yet you claim this is Biden's stance? Yes, the border is a major problem, but guess what - it has been a problem under every single administration and Congress does not have the political will to fix it. I could actually understand if you are a republican, but your examples are bullsh*t. Jan 6 was about our democracy. It was about our institutions. You should be worried no matter which party you support. |
Actually, Biden has done a tremendous amount through executive orders and has stretched decades-old laws to assert he has the authority. The problem is that those executive orders don't necessarily align with what the average American wants. |
Like which ones? I’m also curious what you think Trump did that was so great? |
Care to explain again? This is nonsensical. Seriously. |
Who are you directing the is too? Or are you just putting out there what you are categorizing? |
LMAO. The house has -quite literally- done nothing. Nothing. They can even keep stable leadership-or any leadership- much less pass meaningful legislation. They can’t even agree to fund the government. Whatever it is you’re not—ing about, taxes or otherwise, the House isn’t offering any solutions, much less meaningful solutions, to those or anything else. That’s not on Biden. At all. |
What in fork are you talking about? It is not republicans that believe black people are incapable of getting an ID, using a computer or have access to the interwebs. That is all democrats. Democrats also believe that only black people are poor, which is why when anyone suggests not increasing SNAP, TANF etc., they scream about how it racist it is. |
How is wanting the current president (at the time) to only serve one term some kind of evil thing? Democrats didn't want Trump to serve another term. They also didn't want either of the Bushes to get second terms -and one didn't. This is how opposing parties talk. |
+1 |
+ a million. |
You are delusional. Republicans absolutely believe that voter ID requirements disproportionally reduce Black voter turnout. That’s why they propose them and they rig state ID requirements to target Black voters. Your statement about benefits is idiotic. Democrats definitely know that many beneficiaries of social programs are white children, families, retirees, and people with disabilities. Republicans continually try to divert those funds to cronies instead of the intended beneficiaries. |
Dp- I remember party of no. It’s was more than opposition to his agenda. They were ok with hurting Americans as long as democrats didn’t “win”. McConnell’s brand of leadership was un American. |
WTF are you talking about? 81 million people voted for Biden. Polls a year out only register that a lot of people like to complain about things and imagine that some ideal candidate might appear out of thin air. Those who want someone other than Biden are all over the political spectrum. No potential candidate would poll a majority at this point. |
Disproportionally HOW? Get to the meat of it. Don't just spout rhetorc without being specific. Are blacks too dumb? Lazy? Just WTF causes this disproportionality you mention or is it the democrat party soft bigotry of low expectations? I'm black. Explain it to me. |
DP... hate to break it to you but the progressive tax we have still leaves us with a much bigger divide between the ultra-wealthy and the rest than most other modern, industrialized nations. If you want the "half who don't pay taxes" to pay more then maybe you should work to raise their wages so that they can actually afford to pay taxes, because right now they live paycheck to paycheck and don't have much of anything left to go to taxes. It used to actually be 76% living paycheck to paycheck under Trump, but now it's dropped to 50% under Biden. Personally I think the rich can and should pay more. We need another few brackets above the ones we have now. We need to eliminate a lot of the loopholes that favor the ultra-wealthy, that favor hedge fund traders and folks like Warren Buffett who came right out and admitted he pays a smaller percent share of his income than his secretary does. We should also remove the contribution cap from social security, along with shoring up healthcare to help take care of the less-fortunate, and to make living more affordable. As for your "Cloward and Piven" nonsense, it's the exact opposite. Those things I just mentioned would strengthen and stabilize America, as opposed to being a disruptor. |
