What in fork are you talking about? It is not republicans that believe black people are incapable of getting an ID, using a computer or have access to the interwebs.
That is all democrats.
Democrats also believe that only black people are poor, which is why when anyone suggests not increasing SNAP, TANF etc., they scream about how it racist it is.

You are delusional. Republicans absolutely believe that voter ID requirements disproportionally reduce Black voter turnout. That’s why they propose them and they rig state ID requirements to target Black voters. Your statement about benefits is idiotic. Democrats definitely know that many beneficiaries of social programs are white children, families, retirees, and people with disabilities. Republicans continually try to divert those funds to cronies instead of the intended beneficiaries.

Disproportionally HOW? Get to the meat of it.

Don't just spout rhetorc without being specific. Are blacks too dumb? Lazy? Just WTF causes this disproportionality you mention or is it the democrat party soft bigotry of low expectations? I'm black. Explain it to me.

Do you live in the United States? It’s all about percentages. People who rent, move around, work intermittently, live with non-family, or otherwise don’t have a permanent fixed address in their name are less likely to have an unexpired up to date drivers license or other acceptable ID for their current address. Higher percentages of Blacks, Hispanics, and young people are in that group. That is not disputable. All Republicans want to do is reduce their turnout by 3 to 5 percent to swing close races. Your guys studied and quantified it and wrote bills to make it happen.

There are dozens of studies on this. You must be intentionally oblivious.

People across the board are sick and tired of the out of the control crime like car jackings and shootings that have skyrocketed under Biden and are a result of local policies enacted by the Democrats. All too often that crime is occurring in black neighborhoods. That and the massive influx of illegal immigrants that have been pouring into the country courtesy of Biden and the Democrats is causing a significant erosion in the confidence of Dems to be able to govern. People want law and order and oour borders to be restored.

It is almost inevitable Trump is going to win. He is leading Biden by double digits now.

I wish them the best of luck under Trump.

Ok - so just so we are clear - the black community is for “shooting shoplifters on sight” which is one of Trumps many stated policies.

You are strangely familiar with Klan rallies. That's not normal.

Republicans aren't racist, don't have an issue with black people, but also don't make race the defining feature of every discussion because that is regressive and tribalist. Sorry that treating all Americans like Americans makes you uncomfortable. Examine that discomfort.

NP. Republicans are the epitome of tribalist and regressive. Just listen to them talk about immigrants. All brown immigrants are rapists and criminals according to them. The GOP is the source of the false welfare queen narrative. Being an "anti-woke" GOP member is code for wanting to continue to whitewash and suppress any truth about the history of this country.

Give me a break with all the BS on this thread about how the GOP isn't racist. Total BS.

Color me skeptical that 22% of Black men are headed over to the GOP. I mean, maybe. But Republicans are pretty bald about the fact that they don’t think Black people are human.

This is such garbage and I hope that one day you realize that your "I like you black people, regardless of what the right wing says about you guys" routine is actually incredibly racist. Its gross that you even say these vile sentiments out loud, claiming you're just paraphrasing the other guys.

You know many of us know Republicans in real life, right? And we can see the way you act? It’s not a secret that the GOP collectively hates Black people.

Which is why these dumb articles are wrong every 4 years. But Rs love to point to them, and then they get disappointed. Hilarious.

The problem is not that black people will support Trump, they won't. The problem is they may not vote at all. My son won't vote for anyone who supports the war in Israel. He's pissed with Biden. We are black. He definitely won't vote R.

I made this point earlier and the dafts didn't get it. Republicans don't care if black people for Trump - they'd prefer black people not vote at all.

r Israel, policies regarding sexual identity, homelessness, access to healthcare, housing, CRIME, etc. People living in urban areas really have a lot to grapple with and fear mongering them to not vote for Trump is not going to work this time. And it has everything to do with believing that Democrats won't deliver on these issues and less to do with believing Trump will solve these problems (we know he won't).

+ a million.

WTF are you talking about? 81 million people voted for Biden. Polls a year out only register that a lot of people like to complain about things and imagine that some ideal candidate might appear out of thin air. Those who want someone other than Biden are all over the political spectrum. No potential candidate would poll a majority at this point.

This is not about a fantasy candidate - it more like voter apathy. All I hear as a black voter is something to the effect that Trump will have us back on a plantation within 90 days of his inauguration. Portraying Trump as the Boogeyman is really not an effective strategy to retain or attract voters.

Republicans disenfranchise the black vote because they know Democrats would be dead in the water without said black vote. It's nothing personal and as a black voter, I understand the strategy.

And they work at keeping Black people from voting. If the GOP really thought that Black people were going to start voting for Republicans in any meaningful amount, they’d probably stop trying to prevent Black people from voting. That’s the tell.

K. So when Trump and a Republican Congress give qualified immunity to cops for shooting shoplifters, really hope that “black people are disproportionately accused of shoplifting” thing isn’t true! Or we all cool w the police now?

Cops already have qualified immunity to kill random (black) people - they don't even need to be accused of shoplifting.

Do you know any black men? Plenty of them are socially and economically conservative. And like many of us are also tired of being lectured about “social justice” in a simplistic and victimizing way.
