Some Dems are not so happy about Biden move on Space Command.

one dem, who certainly would have benefited from a more educated and uprwardly mobile voter base in the state.

Oh well

That said, no one is suggesting officially that the decision was made because of Tuberville. The reality is that NORAD and the Air Force Academy are in Colorado, so it makes sense.

You do know why Huntsville was selected, don't you? Space Center ring a bell? Rockets, etc. Werner von Bran? Space camp?

“Space force - I sent to Alabama,” Trump said via a telephone interview today on an Alabama-based syndicated radio show. Despite saying Space Force, he was referring to Space Command. “I hope you know that. (They) said they were looking for a home and I single-handedly said ‘let’s go to Alabama. They wanted it. I said let’s go to Alabama. I love Alabama.”

It's hard to argue with that sort of reasoning

😆
According to GAO the USAF decision-making process to move Space Command HQ from Colorado Springs to Alabama had “significant shortfalls in its transparency and credibility.”

We all know von Bran was a Nazi. You really think they picked Alabama because its senator is a white supremacist?

That Alabamans dumped the ethical, smart and kind Doug Jones as Senator for Tuberville says a lot about Alabamans.

“Pentagon leaders ultimately presented the criteria chart recommending Colorado Springs, not Huntsville, to the White House on 1/11/21.”

Thank God we had an adult to make the decision, not TFG that thinks its "Space Force"

One Dem, not some Dems

Everyone with expertise in the science necessary to work at a space center is thrilled that the center will revert to Colorado as it was supposed to do before Trump lost the election and tried to jam it into Alabama.

Let's not forget he barely won a special election against Roy Moore who clearly was a confirmed pedophile. I guess even Alabama sometimes has standards? And whatever happened to Jeff Sessions?!

here are DOD rules:

up to three weeks leave allowed for an abortion --over the normal leave allowed; paid travel--please tell me where you are stationed that it should require that much leave

don't have to notify service of pregnancy until 20 weeks--so Army can deploy you without knowing of pregnancy and then have to bring you home. Stupid policy.

He lost several Republican primaries.

The Dems and Trump together destroyed Sessions.

Remember all the Dem senators on the floor who painted him as a racist? (Elizabeth Warren for one.) Sessions was largely responsible- as Alabama Attorney General)--along with the SPLC-of eliminating KKK from Alabama. (That's the old SPLC--not the current one.)

And, the voting fraud case that Dems painted as racist happened to be Black voters stealing votes from other Black voters in a race between two Black candidates.

So, he had Dems against him and he bent over backwards--too much--over the Russian collusion lies. And, that made him lose Trump.

He should have cleaned house at DOJ. That was his failure.

It was racist and he is a racist. It is no surprise that Alabama republicans pick another racist to represent them. The Alabama republicans are racist. Stop deflect and just embrace what you are.
