Political Discussion
the bolded is conjecture that you are basing your opinion on. |
Well, if you look at today's job numbers and the job numbers since Biden took office, I think there is a pretty strong argument that the democrats are supporting US workers first. And this has been the case since"globalization" took root in the late 1980's. Facts are important. |
It is not conjecture. Border agents testified to that. And, the record number of fentanyl poisoning supports it. |
Then the border agents need to step it up. |
Los Angeles is over 125 miles from the Mexican border. Van Buren County, Michigan where the fentanyl was seized is over 1500 miles from our southern border and 186 miles from our northern border (which, as of now, is not from where fentanyl is originating). So, neither of these locations are border towns. The drugs seized had made it well into our country. |

People just need to say no.
Personal responsibility, right? |
They cannot do their jobs of patrolling the border when they are diverted to processing migrants, transporting migrants, and babysitting migrants. In case you weren't aware..... far too many border agents have been pulled from their roles of protecting the border to do these things. |
Now there is barely any tech job left on the market, and Biden seems to have done nothing other than: Lower the bar for NIW and EB1 green card. Encourage laid off aliens to stay at US as long as possible by providing one year EAD. PP for H4 EAD. EAD for frivolous and fraudulent asylum claims. No scrutiny for H or L1 application. Mass green card issuance from oversea embassies. facts are indeed important |
It’s almost as if no amount of money or arrests can even dent the drug supply whatsoever. |
It is not just about smuggling drugs. Cartels are engaging in human trafficking as well as bringing in a lot of undocumented Chinese workers. |
| Poorer school districts in smaller towns and cities do not have the resources to hire translators, handle dramatically larger class sizes, institute wrap-around social services, etc. |
Honest yes/no question: Wouldn’t allowing more legal immigration undercut the ability of cartels to smuggle humans? |
Then we should subsidize with federal funds like we already do for those exact same communities. |
