Totally legal purchase from a local shop. He passed the background check. https://abcnews.go.com/US/reported-mass-shooting-upstate-york-tops-supermarket/story?id=84721175 He also had a gun in his vehicle that was a gift from his father. So his parents clearly were OK with guns in the home, despite his known threats in the past. I really wish the parents would be on the hook for this. |
But sure, let's keep expressing compassion for these parents. |
If they allowed access to guns after the school threat/incident they should absolutely be held accountable here. |
| I’m done with this country. It’s getting worse by the day. I’m very thankful my dad pushed me to pursue getting my Irish citizenship when I was in my early 20s. I’m officially making plans to make the move. |
Those with empathy like this are some of the LEAST likely people to be harboring racist feelings. So stop making assumptions. I am one of them and I feel this same way for all sorts of people who do wrong, regardless of their race. |
| What's so weird is how the rest of us can just be going along with the ups and downs of our own lives and then you have people like this who care so much about other people's lives. I just don't get it. Isn't your own life enough to get through the challenges and celebrate the good parts? How some people can care so much about the supposed wrongs of other people is beyond me. |

“Supposed wrongs?” Wow. |
WTF are you babbling about?! |
Do you mean like how DC holds the parent responsible for violent crimes committed by their 18+ year-old sons? |
PP is "babbling" about the idiots who feel |
I think everyone should be held accountable if they do NOT report a child or adult who made previous threats (schools, family, etc) AND has access to a gun. Red flag laws. |
