I don’t necessarily disagree with that sentiment, given how our local Democrats have been such a disaster in every respect for the public schools, but it seems like an odd admission to broadcast within a few days of the election.

Terry has lost his mind. What's going on with him?

Latest polls favor Younkin by as much as 10 points, that's what's wrong.

That speaks very poorly of Virginians. We’ll be the new laughing stock after this election.

Because a former executive of the Carlyle Group is the governor? How funny is that exactly?

Because we will have elected a Trumpkin.

Don't be a bigot. Why vote for someone who wants to silence parents? This election is about our children, not the last president.

DP. I’m voting for McAuliffe specifically for my kids. I don’t need ignorant parents trying to force schools to teach my kids about dinosaur Jesus. 🦕🦖🦕

That’s a good one!

Founding a liberal church is the opposite of being an evangelical

His church is not liberal! You are trying to say that his church is liberal and not evangelical?! He had black members quit because of how he initially refused to the George Floyd murder.

Next you will tell us that Carlyle Group is a not profit that helps small businesses and workers.

So he founded a church where people of all races felt comfortable? That's awful. I'm definitely not voting for him now.

DP. How did you get that from a statement that black members left because they felt uncomfortable?

Actually the rest of the country will be hailing us as saviors.

Some left, some stayed. But the fact they joined proves that - there's no lack of religious communities to join in the area.

Do you mean rollback some of DeVos’ protections for rapists? Those are federal.

Hyperbolic nonsense. She correctly restored basic rights of the accused consistent with judicial decisions. What do Democrats care about “me too” anyway….

DP. So would it be correct to assume you support what LCPS did with the boy who allegedly assaulted a girl in the bathroom, moving him to a different school while the investigation was ongoing? Basic rights of the accused and all.

That’s a moronic question. The rights DeVos restored applied to hearings and the presentation of evidence. I have not heard about any deprivation of rights of the individual to whom you refer. The court has ruled on one of the allegations. Whether the county properly handled the disciplinary matters has been the subject of debate and possibly a lawsuit.

Okay, so you only care about rights of the accused when it suits your agenda. Got it.

I’m not following you. Whose rights were violated? I care about rights consistently. Maybe try to recognize that constitutional rights transcend local politics?

In this instance, I am referring to the rights of the accused boy to continue to receive a proper public education while the investigation was ongoing. I assume you wouldn’t have supported him being removed from school after he first assault allegations before he’d even had a disciplinary hearing, right?

You assert that the accused had a “right” to that transfer. Did he? Does the NY Times Michelle Goldberg article say that? Is not that the very subject of the debate and complaints?

Are you talking about this piece that completely debunked Youngkin supporters’ anti-trans agenda?

https://www.nytimes.com/2021/10/28/opinion/loudoun-county-trans.html

This piece did no such thing.

+1 I live on NY and think Youngkin is an excellent candidate and sincerely hope he wins. His opponent is a political hack retread from the Clinton days……we need to purge people like this from both parties.

McLean. Kids went to the ultra-elite Potomac School.

Nope. I’ve had friends and family ask me “WTF is happening in VA”? How did we get so many crazies?

1. Well under 50%. Probably about 38%. Likely less than 30%.

2. You think the country cares that much about one state with under 9 million people?

People who are paying attention are definitely watching to see if a Blue state flips to Red. This race has national implications for both parties. Did you notice how McAuliffe dropped significantly after bring in Kamala, Biden, Stacey Abrams to campaign with him? Did you pay attention to the turnout? McAuliffe was only able to fill 25% of a *half* soccer field in Arlington when he campaigned with Biden. Arlington Dems have been begging for campaigners (canvassers, poll watchers, etc.).

Is your family from the bay area?

Most of the country wants a fast pendulum swing back to the center. Youngkin represents the beginning of a return to moderation and a firewall against the hard left socialism and marxism of the past 9 months.
